The fonds consists of eleven color postcards, eight of which depict streets and buildings in Charlottetown such as St. Dunstan's College, Prince of Wales College, Victoria Hotel, Queen's Square, Grafton Street, Queen Street, Great George Street, as well as Victoria Park. Other postcards depict Rocky Point, the Summerside Post Office, and the "Prince Edward Island" car ferry. Two postcards include messages to William Carr of Elm Avenue, Charlottetown.

This fonds comprises the records of the Winsloe Pastoral Charge of the United Church of Canada including some early records of the Methodist and Bible Chapel congregations. These include baptisms, marriages and deaths, minutes of official bodies such as the Quarterly Board, Session and special committees, subscriptions and financial accounts, minutes of youth groups, and records of individual churches in the Charge. They have been divided into the following six series:

After describing the general congregational history of the United Church in Kensington, Prince Edward Island, from its beginnings to the 1990s, this volume gives an account of the history and activities of various church groups such as the Sunday School. CGIT, United Church Women, etc.

Kensington, or Barrett's Cross as it was then known, Prince Edward Island, was part of the Bedeque and, later, Margate circuits of the Methodist faith. A Methodist church was first built in Kensington in 1888 on land donated by Hon. G.W.W. Bentley. A Presbyterian church had been built in 1886 as part of the Malpeque circuit. In 1925 Methodists and Presbyterians joined to create the United Church in Kensington, worshipping in the former Methodist Church.

The fonds consists of the minutes of the Women's Christian Temperance Union in Charlottetown for the period 1966-1971. A couple of membership lists are also included in the minute book.

This fonds consists of two volumes of minutes of the Women's Institute District Convention 10B for the period 1930 to 1978. Also include are some correspondence, receipts, and typed transcripts of minutes of the Convention.

This fonds consists of incorporation papers, annual reports, Board meeting minutes, briefs, submissions and presentations, reports, "Common Ground" issues, publications and newspaper clippings.

The fonds consists of one volume of minutes of the annual and executive meetings of the Women's Progressive Conservative Association of 5th Queens, Prince Edward Island, from June 1953 to June 1954. It also contains the President's and Secretary's reports along with newspaper clippings re. the activities of the Association.

The collection consists of four photographs taken on the day following the opening of the PEI Legislature. They are group photographs of the leading public officials, Lieutenant-Governor Marion Reid, Premier Catherine Callbeck, Speaker of the House Nancy Guptill, Deputy-Speaker Libby Hubley, Leader of the Opposition Pat Mella. Also included in two of the photographs is Margaret MacKinnon, first female Aide- de-Camp to the Lieutenant-Governor.

When the first session of the fifty-ninth general assembly of the Prince Edward Island Legislature met in June of 1993, the five principal public officials were all women, the Lieutenant-Governor, the Premier, the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the House, and the Leader of the Opposition. The Women's Secretariat of Prince Edward Island was the body responsible for organizing the photo session.

The fonds consists of registers of births, marriages and deaths, pastor and communicants rolls, minutes of session and trustees of the Presbyterian Church at Wood Islands from 1851 to 1963 and historical notes. These have been divided into following four series: Vital statistics; Trustees' minutes, Minutes of Session, and Historical notes.

The fonds consists of one volume of minutes of the Summerside Women's United Missionary Meeting from 1916 to 1933 followed by the minutes of its successor, the annual World Day of Prayer from 1934 to 1999. The volume also contains some programs, receipts for offerings collected and newspaper clippings.

The World Day of Prayer is celebrated annually in over 170 countries around the world. Themes and writers of the services are chosen by the International Committee which meets every four years. In Canada, services are edited, printed and distributed by the Women's Inter-Church Council of Canada. In Summerside, Prince Edward Island, the World Day of Prayer grew out of the United Missionary Meeting held yearly by the Womens' Missionary Societies of the different Summerside churches. This group met every year since 1916 alternating amongst the member churches. In 1934 the annual meeting began coinciding with the World Day of Prayer.
