The fonds consists of records created by the McLeod Company in the course of carrying out its business functions. However, the collection also contains records of other creators. This latter group of records was most likely acquired by the McLeod Company in the exercise of its corporate management role. Thus in this collection there are records created by the Westminster Trust Co., Westminster Apartments Ltd., the Dominion Trust Co, and F.J. Hart & Co. The records include books of minutes, a stock register and stock transfer books, stock certificates, debentures, wills, estate files, insurance records, newspaper clippings, architectural drawings, and photographs.

The fonds consists of a cord-bound paper notebook containing a holograph musical play titled "A Pair of Them: A Musical Trifle in One Scene". Pasted on the inside cover is a clipping, depicting a scene from a production of the play at the Gaiety Theatre. There is a handwritten addition to the title page stating "Music Arranged Selected & Composed by Meyer Lutz". The cover is autographed by the author.

The fonds consists of research files on various legal historical topics, including the history of the Law Society of B.C., magistrates, courts, judges, and general legal history, each containing correspondence, reports, photocopies, clippings, and notes, as well as some original Law Society records; published transcripts and reports relating to magistrates; collection of legal documents dating from the late 18th century; collection of early B.C. law firm letterhead; a drawing relating to the case of Rex v. Ducharme; photographs of individuals, groups and courthouses, many which were used as illustrations for his historical publications; and sound tapes describing the origins and contents of some of the research files.

The fonds consists of transcripts of documents from and pertaining to the Deutsche Groenland Expedition of 1930-1931 headed by Alfred Wegener and, more specifically, pertaining to his death while attempting to bring desperately needed supplies of petroleum from Weststation to Eismitte. There are also ten photographs.
