Stanley R.S. Bayne fonds

The fonds consists of Stanley Bayne's farm diaries (1899-1935) and farmers account book (1925-1926). Entries in diary after Stanley Bayne's death in 1933 made by his son, Sydney Bayne. Fonds includes Dominion meteorological registers (1900-1933) for the Alberni Station of the Canadian Meteorological Service completed by Stanley Bayne.

Wilfrid Sadler fonds

The fonds consists of correspondence, lecture notes, reference clippings, student notebooks, programs, newsletters, certificates, musical scores, receipts, pamphlets, and books produced and received by Wilfrid Sadler during his student days at Macdonald College and his professional activities as professor in the Department of Dairying from 1918. The Department of Dairying was part of the Faculty of Agriculture from 1916 to 1955.

William and Mary Cartwright fonds : 1869-1904

The fonds consists of a volume in which are recorded the accounts (1872-1904) of William Cartwright and the personal diary of daily activities (1882-1883) of Mary Cartwright. Volume also includes some poems and recipes. The original use of the volume appears to be the 1869 accounts of a general store, possibly the Horne Store. The accounts record many purchases by Chinese and Indians. Newsclippings (1913-1941) have been pasted over parts of the early 1869 accounts.

The fonds consists of Sydney Bayne's farm diaries (1935-1959), farm account book for the Bayne Farm at Beaver Creek (1934-1954), and military records. Fonds includes climatological registers (1934-1958) of the Canadian Meteorological Service Alberni Station, later known as the Beaver Creek District Climatological Station.

The fonds consists of correspondence, reports, minutes, and diaries pertaining to Constable's activities in promoting the development of the Columbia-Kootenay watershed. Fonds includes photographs of the Creston Valley (predominantly from 1945) and maps of the Columbia-Kootenay watershed area. Fonds includes records relating to the Creston Power, Light and Telephone Company, the Kootenay Valley Power and Development Company, various farmers' associations, and the Creston Board of Trade/Chamber of Commerce. It also includes copies of provincial and federal documents relating to development in the Columbia-Kootenay watershed.

Erskine Burnett fonds

Fonds consists of four photograph albums compiled by Erskine Burnett. Two similar albums entitled "The Shuswap Country" are 10" x 13", photographs mounted on black paper held together with two rings. The photographs and carbon-copy script from approximately 1939 describe the country between Kamloops, Sicamous, Salmon Arm and Revelstoke, south to Falkland and Westwold, and south to Enderby, Lumby, Mabel Lake, and Cherryville. Photographs and script are numbered 1 to 338; forward, table of contents, map and index included. Two similar albums entitled "B.C.'s Inland Empire" are 9" x 11", photographs mounted on white paper in a 3-ring binder, and were compiled in approximately 1950. the photographs and carbon-copy script describe the country and its history from Kamloops, Sicamous, Salmon Arm and Revelstoke, south to Westwold and Falkland, south to Mara Lake, Enderby, Mabel Lake, Armstrong, Vernon, Lumby, Sugar Lake, Oyama, Kelowna, Penticton and Osoyoos. One album has photographs and script numbered 1 to 446; forword, table of contents, map and index are included. The other album has photographs and script numbered 1 to 402 and 501 to 527, with photographs of the 1948 flood and an index. Some of the photographs in "Inland Empire" are duplicates from "The Shuswap Country" and others are copies of heritage photographs.
