This collection consists of materials collected by Myles Kinney relating mainly to his interest in genealogy and the history of the Tyvan, Saskatchewan district.

The collection includes photographs of the Tyvan district and residents; a photocopied postcard addressed to Monsieur Georges de Savage, a Tyvan resident; reminiscences of Tyvan residents Mary Houston and Mrs. William G. Rapeer; a 1919 fire insurance plan of Tyvan; a photocopied letter to Kinney from R.L.N. McNaughton and accompanying material relating to the history of Tyvan; a local history of Tyvan published in 1986 by Myles C. Kinney; and the May 24 and July 12, 1907 editions of the Tyvan Signal. The collection also includes a 1934 yearbook of the Provincial Normal School in Regina.
