Skeena Chapter of the Order of DeMolay fonds

The fonds consists of records from the Skeena Chapter of the Order of Demolay in Prince Rupert. It also includes records from the Haida Chapter of the Order of DeMolay, formed in Prince Rupert in 1947, and the Terrace Chapter Order of Demolay formed in 1967. The Haida Chapter includes minutes, correspondence, forms, receipts, annual reports, and petitions for degrees from 1947 - 1953. The Skeena Chapter includes minutes, financial records, correspondence, newsletters, attendance records, investigation reports, bylaws, the constitution of the Northern Region DeMolay Association of British Columbia, term plans, investigation reports, scrapbooks and photographs of installations, field trips, and activities. The Terrace Chapter includes petitions for degrees, a term plan, correspondence, ephemera, attendance records, Letters Temporary, and a minute book from 1967-1971. The two 16 mm film reels feature "Pause and Consider" and "DeMolay Young Men on the Go."

The collection consists of 12 photographs of Prince Rupert in 1909 with notes written on the borders. Originally the photographs were stored in an album with a card addressed "to Mr. and Mrs. Bohanon from Mrs. Danly D. Sprague with kindest remembrances." The photographs were taken by Prince Rupert photographer J.D. (James Dennis) Allen and depict scenes of the townsite.
