Item is a poster for the Annual Port Hope Fall Fair, held at the Town Agricultural Park from September 12-14, 2003. Hosted by the Port Hope & District Agricultural Society, the theme in 2003 was "Country Treasures - Community Pleasures."

Contents: autobiography of Irene Brown. The first fifteen pages are computer output typescript, the remaining 459 pages are ms.

The fonds consist of various materials related to the career of Betty McArthur including reproductions of her pen and ink sketches of scenes of Woodstock and photographs taken by her of Woodstock homes as well as photos of herself painting. In addition, the fond includes several miscellaneous items including copyright for her book “Fine Lines Around Woodstock”, a programme of a 1996 Show at the Woodstock Art Gallery of her work, and newspaper articles.

Item is a motion picture film created by Harold Whyte and Ray McFadden, staff photographers for the newspaper, the Toronto Telegram. The film depicts in comic fashion night shift activities at the Toronto Telegram in 1953. The film also depicts newsroom equipment such as typewriters, cameras and telephones and staff who were working for the Telegram. Staff identified include: Bob Vezina, Arnold Agnew, Mike Steers, Bert Petlock, Eddie Palmer, Duncan Cameron, Ed Mahoney, Val Sears, Chick McGregor and Nels Quarrington.

Harold Whyte created a video version of the film in 2002 to which he added a soundtrack which helps to identify persons and provides a storyline to the original 1953 film. The video version also includes and identifies a group photograph of Telegram photographers who covered the 1951 visit of Princess Elizabeth to Canada.

On February 14, 2002, Port Hope Friends of Music Programming Committee received a Civic Award from the Municipality of Port Hope. Signed by Mayor Rick Austin and embossed with the municipal seal.

Item is a commemorative coin created by the Port Hope Chamber of Commerce, 2000. It includes an image of Molson Mill, and the following text: "Port Hope and District - Where Town and Country Meet - "The Molson Mill" OCA Summer School, 1924-1929" (front) "Prosperity 2000 - Commemorating the New Millenium - Port Hope and District Chamber of Commerce - Est. 1874 - Ontario, Canada" (reverse).

File consists of the documents used to conduct the 2002 season of the Friends of Music. It includes: newspaper article; performance contract, programs, correspondence, correspondence for upcoming events in 2001. Performers included: The Galaxy Trio, Amici, Catherine Robbin & Daniel Lichti and the Mendelssohn Choir.

Item is a framed print from the Douglas R. Greer Collection entitled: "Artificial Salmon-fly and Trout-fly Patterns from the Collection of Douglas R. Greer," 1998. It includes the following caption: "The eight large illustrations are laser-enhanced reproductions of photographs by U.S. photographer Egmont Van Dyck for a 1996 calendar published by Chapters, U.S.A. The texts were written and added to the illustrations by Mr. Greer. Douglas R. Greer has been a trout angler, a fly-tyer, and a conservationist on the Ganaraska River for fifty years.
