Journals present a personal record of work activities as Park Warden and Supervising Warden of Waterton Lakes National Park. Details pertain to patrols, horses, fire control, trail building and maintenance, search and rescue, fish and wildlife duties, law enforcement, supervision, administration, etc. They contain particularly valuable observations on ungulate populations, wildlife management, game, warden service duties and programs and human activity in the park.
