The fonds consists of records relating to the business interests of C. S. Hook & Sons, including businesses run by the company and subsequent businesses related to the company, and personal records of various members of the Hook family. The records date predominantly from the 1940s to the 1970s. Geographically, the records relate to the Peace Country of Alberta and British Columbia, particularly Grande Prairie, where the head office was located and members of the family lived, and Dawson Creek, Fort St. John, and Peace River, where the business operated branch stores. The fonds is arranged in two series: Business and Personal, each with several subseries. An order has been established by the processing archivist based primarily on the content and chronology of the records as the original order had been disrupted.

Campbell family fonds

The fonds consists of family genealogical records, documents, diaries, correspondence and photographs from the Campbell, McGuire and Brewer families; documents and photographs to the Campbell homestead at Halcourt; a collection of artwork, including a set of hand-made Christmas Cards drawn by Myrle and Isabel in the late 1920s; personal and business correspondence; historical writings by Isabel Campbell; records from Miss Campbell's home in Grande Prairie; a reference collection relating to Peace Country history; a set of glass negatives created in 1936-37 by an unknown photographer; and memorial records from Isabel's funeral.

The fonds consists of a family photograph album containing approximately 350 photos plus 14 loose photographs of which 323 are identified in the finding aid. A CD contains the scans of the photographs and a paper copy of the album pages accompanies the album. Biographical notes are included in the fonds file.

Charles McNaught Family fonds

The fonds consists of the correspondence, personal records, financial records, and photographs of the Charles McNaught family. The material is arranged in files for each member of the family and general files for photographs and miscellaneous records. The correspondence is mainly from one family member to each another, but also includes extended family members and friends. The financial records for the McNaught farm are with John and Noel McNaught's records. There is one artwork, a pencil sketch done by Euphemia (Betty) McNaught when she was about 11 years old.

The fonds consists of various textual records related to Charles Spencer's personal, business and commercial interests. The contents of the fonds deal primarily with his life and interests after moving to Grande Prairie in 1910, although the material dates from 1886 to 1941. Records include correspondence, notebooks, daily journals, receipts, contracts and agreements, sales and account books, share certificates, photographs and postcards. There are also two blueprints of the 1917 Montrose School which he designed. The fonds is arranged in three series: Personal papers, Business papers and Photographs. An order has been established by the processing archivist as original order had been disrupted.

Included are 103 photographs documenting their personal and community life.

Croken Family fonds

The records consist of photographs and personal records from Patty and Rudy Croken and Jennie (Tomshak) Croken. They include P.V. Croken financial records from the P.V Croken Store; Patty’s correspondence from 1956-1973; personal income tax returns for Rudy & Jennie Croken from 1953-1958, and for Patty & Daisy Croken from 1958-1966; farm accounts and wheat board certificates; the papers for building Rudy & Jennie’s home in 1954; and a story about working in the Post Office, written by Jennie Croken in 2014. The photographs are a wide assortment of subjects from the Peace Celebration in Grande Prairie in 1919, to Jennie on her travels in 1986.
