  • [ca. 1980]-2006

Fonds consists of project and office records documenting Lenscape Incorporated's architectural photography business.

The records primarily include project files pertaining to work performed by Lenscape for specific clients. Clients have been defined by Lenscape as being individuals, organizations, or specific project sites. In some cases, multiple clients worked on one project site and evidence of these collaborations has been maintained in the individual client file lists.

The fonds also includes credit notes, purchase orders, progress reports, published photograph records, client ledgers, and master negatives lists, which document Lenscape's organizational record-keeping practices. Additionally, the fonds includes large format presentation photographs utilized by Lenscape during the planning stage of individual projects.

Both the original arrangement of project files alphabetically by client and Lenscape's internal project coding system have been maintained. Project codes consist of a numbering scheme whereby the first two digits represent the year in which the project commenced followed by digits assigned sequentially. Documentation of all Lenscape projects can be found in the ledgers in series F 4593-2, Lenscape Incorporated office records. The ledgers are indexed both by client name and project number.
