Ce fonds documente les activités de l'OPDQ et de ses prédécesseurs dans leurs efforts de concertation avec leurs partenaires de l'Outaouais du milieu des années 1970 à 1992. Plusieurs dossiers sont préparés par ou avec la Conférence administrative régionale de l'Outaouais, la Communauté urbaine de l'Outaouais, le Conseil des coopératives de l'Outaouais, le Conseil régional de développement de l'Outaouais et ses prédécesseurs. Les interventions se situent au niveau du tourisme, du développement économique, notamment le secteur minier et l'agriculture, ainsi que de l'aide aux PME et au développement urbain. L'action de l'OPDQ se situait autant dans le milieu urbain (Hull, Gatineau) qu'en périphérie (Pontiac, Petite-Nation, comté de Labelle). Fonds consists of the official records of the Simcoe County Cattlemen's Association from 1977 to 2000. Includes financial records, meeting minutes, membership, newsletters and other miscellaneous records pertinent to their activities in Simcoe County.

The fonds consists of family photographs, correspondence, and genealogical records of the William Alexander Family. The photographs ([ca. 1966]-1980) show William Alexander, his wife Emilie Dannhauer, and their families, the Alexander children in Strathcona, Rycroft, and Grande Prairie, various boats on the Peace River, the Fort Fitzgerald wood camp, the Art Alexander family in Hudson's Hope, the O'Brien girls, Maggie and Emil Baron and their children, Ed and Bill Alexander in their army uniforms, and the Alexander gravesite and O'Brien Park.

The correspondence (1896, 1915-1986) includes letters from Emilie Alexander to her mother Caroline Dannhauer, Pringle to Bill Alexander, R. B. The records were arranged in a series of binders and albums, as assembled by Jean Pearce. They have been selected and rearranged by the Archivist into chronological order. The photographs have been left in the order they were given by Jean; not every photograph in the albums was copied.
