This fonds consists of records relating to Katie A. Stewart's year as a student at the provincial Normal School in Fredericton. It includes an autograph book signed by many of her fellow students (1891-1892), notebooks relating to her study of natural science and teaching methods, and three textbooks -- Three Part Songs (by Henry Sefton, 1879), The Royal Reader (1875), and the Royal Reader (1877).

This is a handwritten and illustrated weekly newspaper, produced by the students of the grammar school in St. Andrews. The newspapers cover the dates 25 September 1895 to 16 December 1895, 13 issues altogether, all of which were in Volume 1. The paper featured school and town news, as well as local advertisements.

This fonds contains extensive information on Kings County and the genealogy of that county which includes family trees, newspaper clippings and interview transcripts. Included are interviews with Sir Leonard Tilley, who discussed election campaigns with Mr. Allison. The fonds also includes information concerning the Indian College at Sussex and early architecture and buildings of Kings County.

Sackville High School Group

Item is a photograph of a group of students who attended Sackville High School in spring of 1903, as well as teachers. On verso of item, a number of the students have been identified: Gladys Dixon, F. H. Dixon, Nita Palmer, Isla Fawcett, Cladie Smith, and Carrie Read.

Letters to Evelyn Hall

File of letters, mainly from Dell Grafton, who was a school friend of Evelyn Hall’s from Havergal College, Toronto. The letters were written between 1900 and 1905 and describe Dell Grafton’s social life, clothes, parties and boyfriends and were written from Dundas, Ontario (her home town), Vancouver, British Columbia, and from various hotels in Maine, where she spent her summers with her family. Adeline’s father was James Grafton, a dry goods merchant in Dundas. Her mother had died and her relationship with her stepmother was not good. The last letter from Adeline was written on board the RMS Caronia in October 1905, when she was on her way to school in England.

The other letter was from Anna Corbett of Brampton.
