This collection consists of two scrapbooks of newspaper clippings, dated 1899-1900, about the Boer War and the participation of Prince Edward Islanders in the war. Also included are 4 color slides of graveyards and graves of Canadian soldiers in South Africa. The slides were probably taken during the 1960s.

This fonds consists of a muster roll and a weekly diary of drills, both dated 1867, as well as an enrollment return and attendance at drill form, dated 1868, of the No. 4 Company of the Second Queen's County Militia. Information documented in these papers includes the rank and names of the members, their ages, the date they took the oath of allegiance, the numbers of hours drilled, how far they lived from the drills, the reasons they might not have attended drills, and general remarks.

This fonds consists of the quarterly pay list of the 104th Regiment of Foot dated 25 September 1812 to 24 March 1813. Pay master was H. H. Carmichael. Information includes the number, rank, and name of the individuals, the amount of pay and additional allowances issued, and general remarks.

Anonymous King's County Store ledger

The fonds consists of a four hundred page ledger dating from 1826 to 1829. The individuals listed within the ledger are sometimes documented according to the community they are from, or by their occupation. Although the majority of the patrons documented within the ledger come from the communities of Cardigan, Launching, and Sturgeon, there are also individuals listed within the ledger from a variety of communities throughout King's County such as Montague, Brundenell, Georgetown, Murray Harbour, and Grand River. Noticeable residents of Charlottetown including Francis Longworth and Daniel Hodgson are also listed as patrons of this store.

Tuplin family collection

The majority of the collection consists of business correspondence of the Tuplin family from 1844 to 1900, with various companies in Boston and PEI, as well as creditors in Liverpool, England. The collection also contains some undated correspondence between family members, a New Testament Bible belonging to Harriet Tuplin, the obituary of Rebecca Tuplin, Breyton family genealogy, as well as a detailed record of the division of the estate of Reuben Tuplin junior.

The majority of the collection consists of documents relating to Alexander McMillan the elder and Alexander McMillan the younger and the land they owned in Lot 57. Land records of the McMillan family include conveyances, notice of sales, leases, surveys, and plans of the township. Other records of the McMillan family include correspondence, as well as financial and legal documents concerning the rent of land as well as probate documents. Muster rolls for Loyalists granted land on St. John's Island, 1784

This collection consists of copies of muster rolls and related papers for United Empire Loyalists from Shelburne, Nova Scotia, who were granted land on St. John's Island (Prince Edward Island) in 1784. Included are correspondence between government and military officials, muster rolls, returns which document the numbers of people involved, and other related documents. The original documents are dated 25 October 1783 to 29 September 1784.
