The fonds consists of family photographs, correspondence, and genealogical records of the William Alexander Family. The photographs ([ca. 1966]-1980) show William Alexander, his wife Emilie Dannhauer, and their families, the Alexander children in Strathcona, Rycroft, and Grande Prairie, various boats on the Peace River, the Fort Fitzgerald wood camp, the Art Alexander family in Hudson's Hope, the O'Brien girls, Maggie and Emil Baron and their children, Ed and Bill Alexander in their army uniforms, and the Alexander gravesite and O'Brien Park.

The correspondence (1896, 1915-1986) includes letters from Emilie Alexander to her mother Caroline Dannhauer, Pringle to Bill Alexander, R. B. The records were arranged in a series of binders and albums, as assembled by Jean Pearce. They have been selected and rearranged by the Archivist into chronological order. The photographs have been left in the order they were given by Jean; not every photograph in the albums was copied.

This fonds consists of the Brant Agricultural Society minute book (1862-1875), containing the minutes of directors' and annual membership meetings, which took place in Walkerton, reflecting the concerns and activities of the Society, as well as lists of competitors in the Brant Agricultural Exhibition / Annual Fall Fair. It also consists of a membership book containing the names and post offices of subscribers / members of the Society from 1868-1896, with information about dues paid. Enclosed in the membership book is "An Act to Further Improve the Agriculture and Arts Act, 1895"

The fonds consists of Walter Parlby's diaries (1892-1950 [on microfilm]) and Irene Parlby's personal papers and addresses (some on microfilm), and newsclippings. Includes photographs of the family, ranch and Alix area; a scrapbook of the Alix Farm Women's Union of Alberta (FWUA), successor to the UFWA (on microfilm); and memoirs by Bea Parlby regarding her father MLA John C. Ce fonds comprend les documents produits par la Cour de magistrat pour le district de Saint-Hyacinthe. Il fournit aux chercheurs une foule de renseignements sur l'histoire économique et sociale de la ville de Saint-Hyacinthe de même que sur ses relations avec les régions avoisinantes. Les documents judiciaires de ce tribunal marquent l'évolution d'une métropole régionale desservant la région la plus fertile de la province dominée par les activités agricoles. Ils témoignent des activités de service de la ville de Saint-Hyacinthe et de la présence des entreprises industrielles concentrées dans le textile et la chaussure. De façon générale, les documents des cours de magistrat illustrent l'évolution du niveau de vie de la population, la nature et l'étendue des réseaux de crédit et d'endettement et les relations entre propriétaires et locataires. L'émergence graduelle de l'État providence et la multiplication de la réglementation à tous les niveaux de gouvernement se reflètent dans des causes diverses comme celles qui déterminent la responsabilité d'une municipalité pour l'entretien d'un indigent et celles qui touchent la pratique de métiers et de professions ou encore les accidents de travail. Composé surtout de discours et d'allocutions, ce fonds exprime les idées d'Adélard Godbout, du Parti Libéral et du gouvernement qu'il dirigeait pendant la seconde guerre mondiale. L'effort de guerre des Canadiens-français, la conscription, l'unité canadienne, la campagne d'aide à la Russie, la Conférence de Québec, le débarquement en France, font l'objet de maintes interventions du Premier ministre. Godbout, par ailleurs, dirige une province et un parti politique, et à ces fins, il s'intéresse, entre autres sujets, à l'agriculture, à la colonisation, à l'avenir de la jeunesse canadienne-française, aux programmes et à l'orientation du Parti Libéral, à une critique de l'Union nationale qui tente d'isoler le Québec (autonomie provinciale), ainsi qu'au rôle de l'Église. Le fonds comprend également un discours de Godbout sur le développement de l'Abitibi et un message du Conseil de la vie française. Il regroupe aussi les documents produits ou reçus par Adélard Godbout pendant sa toute sa carrière politique.
