Previously known as the "Ethel Johns Research Collection", the fonds consists of records generated during Street's writing of the biography of Ethel Johns. It includes correspondence (1969-1974) with publishers and the Canada Council which funded the project; transcripts of interviews with students, friends and associates (1969-1970); copies of Johns' addresses and publications (including portions of an unfinished autobiography); and draft manuscripts for the book "Watch-Fires on the Mountains".

The fonds consists of biographical material that documents Robinsonʹs distinguished career, his publications, as well as information about the historical development of UBCʹs Department of Geography.

Fonds consists of six series: Correspondence; Purchase Orders; Poultry Farm Sales Records; Research/ Research Funding; Seminars; and Miscellaneous Records. The Correspondence Series consists of three sub-series: a) General Correspondence; b) Correspondence with Business / Government; c) Interdepartmental Correspondence.

The fonds consists of records which document Edgar Wickberg's research on Chinese land tenure systems and rural society, and the history of Chinese communities overseas. Materials include research notes, correspondence, computer printouts, newspaper and magazine clippings, photocopies of both archival documents and scholarly articles, and file cards and notes stored in file card boxes. The series are Land Tenure (divided into sub-series by region), Rural Localities in China, Chinese in Canada, Chinese in the United States, and File Cards.

The fonds consists of scrapbooks constructed by members of the Theta Chapter of the Phrateres and from some of the sub-chapters to document their activities. Scrapbooks are composed of clippings, pamphlets, photographs, and drawings relating to various charitable and social events sponsored by the organization. The records also include minutes from Theta Chapter and Presidents' and Social Reports. Other materials include membership lists, a guest book for an alumni tea, and handbooks for the UBC Theta Chapter and for the University of Washington chapter.

The fonds consists of minute books, membership lists (1916-1937), photographs, plays, financial records, programs, and play announcements (1916-1954), scrapbooks (1916-1944), and ephemera.

Fonds consists of 370 black and white negatives taken between 1917 and 1924. The images are primarily of UBC students at the University's original Fairview campus. There are also shots of faculty members. As well as posed individual shots of students, there are many photographs of various student activities including the annual class picnic. Although most of the photographs are not identified they are very important for collectively documenting student life at the University in the late teen’s and early 1920s.

The fonds consists of correspondence, reports, and minutes which document Rosenbluth's involvement with various associations and committees including the UBC Board of Governors and the Canadian Economic Association. The bulk of the material consists of files from the 1960s when he was chairman of the Salaries Committee of the Canadian Association of University Teachers.
