This fonds consists of correspondence between Samuel Mayes and George Botsford and their customers, 1884-1904.

This fond consists of the business records of Erlon Bell and his son, Samuel W. Bell. It includes correspondence, account books, day books, ledgers, cashbooks, accounts receivable, time books, wage books, journals, payroll record cards, year-end statements, vouchers, and invoices. Also included are workers group insurance records, workmen's compensation records, legal records, and information relating to cutting and scaling.

There are also materials related to a number of companies, including North Carleton Land Co. (1965-1967), Carleton Development Co. Ltd., Monquart Lumber Co. Ltd., Woodstock Woodworking Factory Ltd., Lockhart Woodworking Limited, Flemming Industries Ltd., Flemming & Gibson Ltd., Dead River-Merican Industries Ltd. A few personal records of both Erlon Bell and Samuel Bell (correspondence, bills, school trustee papers, school books, photographs) are also included.

Fonds has been arranged into eight Series. Each series has been broken down by subject and filed chronologically, either by date or alphabetically. The fonds reflect the material kept and collected by Pete Casorso. The records date from 1885 - 1997, but are predominantly from 1922 - 1987, the year after his death. The fonds focuses on the business and financial records kept by Pete Casorso. The files represent his business interests whether it is Mountview Sawmills Ltd. Pioneer Ranch, Casorso Brothers Ltd. and the many properties he owned or co-owned, mining interests (especially Lexington Mines Ltd. and Notre Dames Des Mines). Also included are records relating to insurance and legal indentures, personal records such as correspondence. Many of the records are handwritten and offer a glimpse into the life and times of Pete Casorso, Kelowna pioneer, farmer and businessman. on contents. The fonds consists of reminiscences of his life in Nordegg (1972); newsclippings about the 1941 mining disaster and various Nordegg residents; letters from Marin Nordegg; lists of births and deaths in Nordegg; and photographs of Nordegg,Banff, and his father (1888-1927).

"This fonds consists of documents related to James C. Hovey's work with the provincial Department of Public Works as a supervisor of roads. There are letters regarding Hovey's responsibilities with the Department of Public Works, road tax notices, certificates, and correspondence with the Cobbler Sexton Mining Company Limited.

There are also documents from the parish of Northampton, school district 2, including minute books, teacher agreements for both Ella R. Purvis and Etta Grant (1919), and classroom registers for teachers Effie M. Forest and Annie E. Gibson, dated 1915-1916 and 1925-1926. The relationship between James Hovey and the school records is unknown."

Sandeman Company, Saskatchewan Savings Society, Alberta Loan and Investment Company, and Western Agencies and Development (1906-1919); bonds for Diamond Coal Company, Consolidated Diamond Collieries and Drumheller Consolidated Collieries (1910-1928); livestock certificates for British Americam Live Stock Association and Percheron Society of America (1904-1914); townsite plan for Kindersley, Saskatchewan (1913); map of petroleum and gas rights in the Turner Valley oilfields, and ad for Big Chief Oil shares (1926); posters for farm auction sales at Jackville, Coaldale, Milk River, Chapman and Airdrie (1917-1919); poster for Percheron stallion (1920); and German-American Colonization Company poster (1914).

This fonds consists of administrative and financial records and includes reports (1891-1903), a bond (1890), correspondence (1892-1898), a receipt book (1892), a copy of the consitution and by-laws and a ritual book.

This fonds consists of 16 day books or account books of J. E. McAuley's general mercantile business, which operated after 1906 as J. E. McAuley & Co. These records cover most years between 1893-1916. An index dating to about 1897 is also included.
