Provincial Chapter, I.O.D.E. fonds

The fonds consists of the minutes of the Provincial Chapter of the I.O.D.E., May 1962-November 1986, reports of annual meetings, 1968-2002, working files which include constitution and bylaws, a regent's handbook, lists of chapter officers, project documentation, activities, newspaper clippings and a scrapbook. The fonds also contains the constitution and minutes of some National annual meetings as well as a scrapbook, newspaper clippings, and photographs of the now defunct Royalty Chapter.

Queen Mary's Needlework Guild fonds

This fonds consists of three volumes of annual reports for the Charlottetown branch of the Queen Mary's Needlework Guild covering the period 1952-1970. The volumes also contain newspaper clippings about the activities of the branch, as well as statements documenting finances and expenditure. The fonds also includes a booklet describing the Order of Service for the Burial of Her Majesty Queen Mary, a copy of the book "Queen Mary's Needlework Guild: Its Work During the Great War", published by St. James' Palace and accompanied by a signed letter from Queen Mary. In addition, the fonds also contains several certificates that were granted to the branch in recognition of its valuable work, a copy of a speech delivered by Mrs. A. A. Bartlett describing the origins of the Queen Mary's Needlework Guild, as well as a photograph of the "Guild Home" in Quebec bearing an inscription to Mrs. Bartlett.

Report of the Sixth Annual Session of the Provincial Grand Lodge, Loyal Orange Institution of Prince Edward Island

The Report of the Sixth Annual Session of the Loyal Orange Lodge was held at the Provincial Lodge in Charlottetown on Tuesday, the 14 February 1866. This report contains an address given by Provincial Grand Master Sir J.B. Cooper which discussed such topics as the unsuccessful attempts of the lodge to apply for an act of incorporation in 1863, the Fenian Invasions of 1865, the Grand Council meeting in London, England on the 17th July 1865, to which PEI was to send one representative, as well as information concerning the opening of new lodges throughout PEI that year. The report also contains the reports of the finance, correspondence, and appeals committees, and the minutes of the semi-annual meeting held at the Provincial Grand Lodge on the 3 July 1866, and the financial statement for the Loyal Orange Lodge of PEI for 1866.

This fonds contains the records of the Royal Edward Chapter of the Imperial Order of the Daughters of the Empire since its organization in Charlottetown in 1901. The fonds consists of the following four volumes of minutes and rolls of the United Church Women of St. James Church in Souris: December 1965 - June 1972; September 1972 - April 1975; May 1975 - December 1978; and January 1979 - November 1983.

The collection consists five account books (1920-1930) from Reddin Bros. Drug Store on Richmond Street in Charlottetown, as well as a sixth account book (1882-1892) which may have also come from the same company which was founded by Dennis O'Meara Reddin, Jr. in 1882. The collection also includes a list of charter members of an unidentified club dated 1966. Although the name of the club is not given, the illustrations indicate it was likely a curling organization. Finally, the collection contains three photographs, including one of a military band (n. d.), the West Kent Football Team Interscholastic Champions (1928), and the Charlottetown Driving Park (1948).

This fonds consists of 11 volumes of minute books for the years 1857-1984, 2 petition books for 1857-1923, and 1 ledger for the 1912-1927 period. The minute books record: those members present at meetings; resolutions and other business; and the financial transactions of the group. The petition books contain the completed application forms of men wishing to join the Lodge. The ledger is an indexed account of the dues paid by the members of the Lodge.
