The fonds consist of records relating to the operations and activities of the Nanaimo Pony Club which is part of the B.C. Regional Division. Some of the records pertain specifically to the Nanaimo club, some relate to activities of the B.C. regional division and some to national activities. Includes membership records; correspondence; event programs and schedules; information; rules and regulations and forms for rallies; the Prince Philip Games; as well as individual test/scoring results. A few financial records are also included. Fonds is arranged in three series: 1) Organizational Records; 2) Financial Records; and 3) Horsemanship Records.

The collection consists of 91 volumes of log books of North Pacific sealing vessels detailing crews, seals taken and hunting area; 9 volumes of Entrance and Clearance logs for Burrard Inlet, Nanaimo and Victoria (1872-1889), and other assorted records relating to maritime activities.

The fonds consists of a financial report (1942) and a list of residents who contributed to the addition at Speedway Hall and had their names inscribed on bricks on the north wall of the Cedar Community Hall.

Categories include name, age, place, cause and date of death, occupation, place of birth, where buried, name of doctor, and information about various costs related to the funeral. Fonds consists of a photograph album with views of Malaspina Hotel (originally called the Nanaimo Community Hotel) from its construction in 1927 to interior shots from the 1960s and a copy of the original construction specifications. The fonds consists of poll-tax receipt from Campbell River (1925), a liquor purchase permit and records (1945), and a medical identification card from Nanaimo for 1946, relating to medical benefits.

Fonds consists of a record book (1912-1953) which lists each impounded animal, the claimant's name and address, and charges and a notice of impoundment (1915) signed by Pound Keeper, Jack Aitken (1915).
