Forms part of: Alberta General Insurance fonds. The sous-fonds consists of the following series: Inspector Report Records from 1940 to 1982, Loss Claim Records from 1967 to 1989 and Expired Policy Records from 1973 to 1984. Selections were made on Loss Claim Records and Expired Policy Records, consequently the records only reflect a sample of this type of record.

Forms part of Government Services fonds. The sous-fonds consists of the one series: Annual Reports from 1942 to 1983.

Forms part of Alberta Revenue fonds. The sous-fonds consists of the following series: Administration Records from 1967-1990; Investigation Records from 1925-1990 and General Correspondence form 1967 to 1996. The Alberta Securities Commission's records were transferred from the Department of the Attorney General to the Department of Consumer and Corporate Affairs and were inclusive of records related to past functions of security control.
