The collection consists of a program from the Edmonton Public School Board and Alberta Teachers' Association annual banquet, 1983 and a Patriots' Centennial Calendar for 1985 the centennial of "the Patriotic War of the Northwest" also known as the Riel Rebellion.

The fonds consists of material created or collected by Norman Arnold of Edmonton from 1918-1952 and relating primarily to his military career in the First World War. The fonds consists of a quartermaster's ledger, minute book and correspondence as well as copies of "The 49er", the regimental magazine.

The fonds consists of four essays providing histories of the Northwest Territories and Yukon Radio System: <i>A brief history of the NWT & Y Radio System</i>, <i>R. C. Signals; A History of the Northwest Territories and Yukon Radio System 1923 to 1960</i>; <i>North Radio Service</i> has colorful history by Ron Hayter; and <i>The Khaki Telco commercial activities of the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals 1923-1959</i>; and three photographs which are catalogued separately.

The collection consists of personal items, photographs, stories, scrapbooks, newspaper clippings, and memorabilia relating to Edmontonians' WWII experiences.
