The sous-fonds consists of a variety of materials related to the Sisters of St. Joseph Concert Band, including photographs, various textual records, scrapbooks, audio cassettes, and compact discs.

Fonds documents Surtees' work as a Professor of History at Nipissing College/University. Fonds contains one series documenting Surtees' research for his book The Northern Connection: Ontario Northland Since 1902, a history of the Ontario Northland Railway/Temiskaming and Northern Ontario Railway. Other records in the fonds reflect Surtees' academic activities and research interests, including First Nations and northern Ontario history.

The collection reflects Ada Janet Ross’ nursing career and wartime experience from her nursing training, through to her death and posthumous honours. The records document her time at the Winnipeg General Hospital School of Nursing, the Women’s Hospital in New York, the Selkirk Hospital, as well as her affiliations with the Manitoba Association of Registered Nurses, the Nursing Sisters, and the Canadian Army Medical Corps. The collection consists of certificates, programmes, forms, correspondence, photographs, postcards and artefacts which have been arranged into seven series.

The collection reflects the roles of Joan Antoinette Kupchak as a nursing student, staff nurse and educator while documenting her graduations, achievements, teaching activities, and affiliation with the Manitoba Association of Registered Nurses. The collection is arranged into four series and includes diplomas, certificates, correspondence, pieces of uniform, photographs, pins and various objects.

The collection reflects Alfreda Jean Attrill’s education, nursing career, war service, her affiliation with the St. John’s Ambulance Association, and her genealogy. The series is arranged into nine series and covers events from her early life to her death through awards, certificates, memoirs, family histories, correspondence, articles, programs, diaries, invitations, publications and prayers.

Fonds consists of the personal materials of Paul MacEwan, founder and leader of the Cape Breton Labour Party from 1982-1987 and former member of the Nova Scotia Legislature for Cape Breton Nova from 1970-2003. Included is correspondence, subjects files concerning healthcare and agriculture, press releases, and papers related to the New Democratic Party and Cape Breton Labour Party.

Collection consists of textual records pretaining to the life of John McCrae. Included are the publications Lieutenant-Colonel John McCrae 1872-1918 Soldier, Poety, Physician, the McCraes of Guelph by A.E. Byerly, and a copy of The Torch which includes an inserted piece of paper pretaining to David McCrae's family. There are also newspaper clippings various newspapers about John McCrae.

Fonds reflects Zytaruk's career as the Principal/President of Nipissing College and as a professor of English literature. Records span his entire academic career from the mid 1960s to the 1990s, and are arranged into six series. Records include: minutes, agendas, and reports of the academic senates of Nipissing College and Laurentian University; minutes, correspondence, and reports of the Board of Governors of Nipissing College; correspondence and programs relating to events and conferences which Zytaruk organized or attended; academic journals containing articles he authored; speeches he gave as Principal/President; and correspondence, budgets, minutes, and reports related to college/university administration.

Fonds consists of photographs, maps, correspondence, and textual records related to John Bernard Croak and his military service.

The Metropolitan Maxim Hermaniuk fonds is comprised of papers from all phases of his life, study, and vocation in Europe and in Canada. The textual material includes extensive studies of local, national, and international importance in wide-ranging areas of social interest; official documents of the pre-Vatican and Vatican II Councils; correspondence from the private to the official level throughout his lifetime; material tracing preparation for the Papal visit to Canada in 1984, and the Millennium of Christianity in Ukraine celebrated in 1988; and numerous publications either written by Metropolitan Hermaniuk, or of interest to him.
The fonds is comprised of numerous reports, appeals, media articles, and documents both preliminary and officially created in the course of decision-making, in the course of guiding, supporting, teaching, and inspiring clergy as well as lay people in the Church. As the spiritual and administrative head of the Ukrainian Catholic Church in Canada and an influential participant in the councils of Vatican II, Metropolitan Hermaniuk lived through a time of change at the highest levels, illustrated by his papers. Spanning much of the twentieth century, the papers at the same time extraordinarily document life itself, especially during the last half of that century
