The collection consists of one reel-to-reel tape and several other recordings of the Brooklyn Trio (ca. 1950, ca. 1972) copied onto compact disks from three reel-to-reel audio tapes, two 78 rpm vinyl records, and one eight-track tape. Most of the songs on the recordings are hymns and have been identified. Also included in the recordings are examples of Gaelic singing and a Lenny Gallant song entitled "Song for Lea Crane." The collection also includes two photographs of the Brooklyn Trio (ca. 1945-1946 and ca. 1961-1962) and a copy of a CBC radio broadcast by Marion Bruce about the Brooklyn Trio (ca. 1991).

The collection consists of material gathered by Dr. John Shaw during August and September of 1987. The project, entitled Gaelic in Prince Edward Island: A Cultural Remnant, was jointly sponsored by the Institute of Island Studies and the Celtic Studies Committee at the University of Prince Edward Island. The collection also includes a detailed project inventory created by Dr. Michael Kennedy in 2002 as part of a joint project between the Institute of Island Studies and Special Collections at Robertson Library, UPEI. The material has been divided into the following series:

The collection consists of the original parish site deed and list of deeds for St. Margaret's Church in St. Margaret's, Prince Edward Island. The list of deeds (ca. 1957-1969) names and dates the following five deeds: parish farm (1893), cemetery (1894), original parish site (ca. 1805), addition to the cemetery (1957), and property by the shoreline (1890). The original parish site deed from 23 July 1803 was signed by Thomas Wright, James McCormick, John Cambridge, and certified by Thomas Desbrisay. Attached to the deed is a hand-coloured map from 1846 of St. Margaret's Church and surrounding area by Surveyor Thomas Irwin, from the office of the Surveyor General in Charlottetown.

This fonds consists of correspondence, photographs, photo albums, genealogical material, clippings, school notebooks and other material collected by Kathleen Ready McIver and belonging to members of the family of James A. and Annie M. Ready. A large portion of this fonds is related to Joseph Ready's time as a Pilot Officer in the Royal Air Force during World War II and his correspondence with his sisters Mary Ready and Kathleen (Ready) MacIver. The fonds has been divided into two series: Ready family textual records and Ready family photographs.

The scrapbook belonging to Bertha MacKenzie McNeill contains clippings, mainly from Prince Edward Island newspapers, about a variety of topics of interest to the owner. A large percentage of articles are about Islanders and other Canadians in World War II. Subjects of other clippings include royalty, marriages, deaths and prominent news items.

This collection consists of family genealogical information taken from Blanchard and Mahon family Bibles, along with items found among the pages of the Bibles, such as newspaper clippings, a photograph, postcards, marriage certificates and performance programmes from plays in which Dr. and Mrs. Edward Blanchard participated. The collection also includes a large rolled family tree for the family of James Robeson and Isabelle Knox, as well as material belonging to architect E. S. Blanchard, including one architectural drawing of the tool shed at his home at 41 Greenfield Avenue, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island and one album of images of Charlottetown, fishing trips, etc. Some of the photographs appear to be by local photographer H. B. Sterling.
