This fonds documents the professional career and personal activities of Raymond P. Gorham. It includes correspondence, biographical information, education memorabilia, photographs, maps, plans, pamphlets, and materials pertaining to the Cathedral Men's Club, the Natural History Society of New Brunswick, and the Canadian Society of Technical Agriculturalists.

The fonds also includes research materials, articles, essays, and papers on a variety of subjects -- entomology, science, Maritime pre-history, local history (University of New Brunswick, city of Fredericton, parish of Kingston, Kincardine settlement), ecclesiastical history (Anglican Church), and agricultural history. Gorham also compiled genealogical information on the Gorham, Allen, Fowler, Francis, Giles, Hoyt, Ingraham, Kierstead, Lyman, Lyon, Merritt, Murray, Paddock, Perkins, Perley, Prince, Raymond, and Paul families.

Lastly, the fonds contains a typescript copy of "The development of agricultural organization in Upper and Lower Canada during the period before Confederation," written by R. P. Gorham and dated May 1933.

The maps and plans have been transferred to the Map Section. The photographs are located in P118.

This collection consists of a scrapbook that contains a wide variety of items including receipts for locally purchased medicines, articles on Western Canada, socialism in England and gardening

This fonds consists of a return of scholars for 1850-1851 kept by Lemuel Fillmore. Return includes the number and names of students and is further broken down into number each of boys and girls, ages, and number of days present in the school year.

Fonds consists of correspondence between Peter Penner and the Hon. Joseph R Smallwood, St. John’s, Newfoundland, 1978. A note regarding a telephone conversation with the Hon. Joseph R. Smallwood, 24 October 1983, is on the reverse of the 10 March 1978 letter to Peter Penner.

Fonds contains a student notebook belonging to Lena M. Chipman, 1906, and a printed invitation to The Senior Class of the University of Mount Allison College At Home, 1 March 1912.

Fonds contains correspondence between Betty and Roy Fraser, and letter between Betty and Jean C. (Mrs. Roy) Fraser.

Fonds consists of a valedictory address delivered at the Convocation of Mount Allison University by G. Roy Long, 1906, and submission of autobiographical information G. Roy Long, candidate for a Rhodes scholarship for the province of Prince Edward Island, for the year of 1907.

This fonds documents the writing career of Michael O. Nowlan, as well as much of his work as a teacher of English and advocate of Canadian literature. The fonds consists largely of correspondence to and from Nowlan, and drafts and notes for articles and books. Also included are committee minutes, newspaper clippings, and a few photographs. Despite the existence of separate "Correspondence" files, almost every file in the fonds contains correspondence, usually associated with the material in the file.

This fonds documents the academic activities of philosophy professor Leo Ferrari, particularly with respect to his studies of 5th-century bishop, philosopher and doctor of the church Augustine of Hippo. It also documents his activities as president and primary spokesperson for The Flat Earth Society (FES), an organization founded to encourage critical thinking and restore confidence in the validity of the senses. In addition, this fonds reflects Ferrari's interest in human rights issues.

It includes incoming and outgoing correspondence, notes, research material, draft and published copies of books and articles, bibliographies, and conference programmes. In connection with The Flat Earth Society, it includes letters from applicants, membership lists, tractates, photographs, copies of The Official Chronicle and The Official Organ, cartoons, newspaper clippings, brochures, and financial records. It also contains a reel-to-reel audio tape of Ferrari speaking about the FES and a VHS videotape entitled "In Search of the Edge". Artifacts include a smashed globe, maps of the world in various shapes, framed membership certificates, and a wooden gnome holding the sign "Repent! the Edge is Nigh".
