Fonds consists of records related to the activities of the Vegreville and District Centennial Committee and includes a Committee report, programmes from various activities held during the centennial celebrations, a project by the students of A.L. Horton school entitled Vegreville: 100 Facts on Our 100th Birthday, an annual from St. Martin's School, and photographs depicting quilts, exhibition booths, and members of the Women's Institute.

The fonds consists of the administrative records of Vegreville Hadassah-WIZO created from 1936 - 1990. The Fonds includes these series: 1. Minutes of meetings (1936-1968). The series consists of minutes of regular council and executive meetings of the organization. 2. Financial records (1934 -- 1990). Series consists of ledgers containing financial information about monies raised and dues collected. 3. Guest Book (ca. 1975-1990) 4. Administrative records -- includes correspondence (ca. 1976- 1990)

Mrs Vera Gingras reviews her days at a student at Holy Cross Hospital, Calgary and her work experience at St Michael's Hospital, Lethbridge and St. Vincent's Hospital, Pincher Creek. Nursing practices during the wartime shortages of 1944-1945 are described. Mrs Gingras records her observations on the changes in medical/nursing/patient relationships, in medication and procedures, and in nurses' professional and union activities, that have taken place during her career.

The fonds consists of Alberta Social Credit Women's Auxiliary annual reports, convention reports, executive lists, newsletters and circulars, resolutions, and Social Credit study group lessons.

The fonds consists of a copy of Vivien Houle's thesis for partial fulfillment of a Master's of Social Work at the University of British Columbia in 1995, "Collaborative Life Writing with my Grandmother: A Reflexive Feminist Perspective." The fonds also contains eight 90 minute audiocassette tapes capturing the reminiscences of Irma Houle recorded between 1993 and 1995.
