Canadian Guernsey Breeders' Association publicity records

This series consists of records relating to the 1970 Guernsey queen contest, including photographs of applicants with essay submissions on a rural life theme. Also included are promotional materials developed by the Association to promote both Guernsey cattle and the Guernsey Gold milk product. These records include stickers, photographs, paper visors, posters (paper and metal) milk cartoons, milk cartons, fact books, and promotional material guidebooks with examples of promotions. These records document the promotional and publicity activities of the Canadian Guernsey Breeders' Association.

Marg MacKinnon architectural conservancy series

Series consists of records documenting Marg Mackinnon's activities in heritage and conservation issues for the City of Guelph. Included in this series are newspaper clippings, correspondence, reports and designations of the local Architectural Conservation Advisory Committee. Also included are Department of planning and development records used for consultative purposes.

Verne McIIwraith Gordon Couling photographs

Series consists of photographs and textual materials accumulated and or received by Verne McIIwraith documenting various aspects of Gordon Couling’s life. The photographs include images of his military service in the Second World War, as a student at the Ontario College of Art, his activities as an artist, and areas he vacationed, lived or worked such as Nanaimo and Horseshoe Bay British Columbia. There are also photographs of a parade during Vancouver’s Diamond Jubilee and of family members including his mother. The textual records are notes, some of them hand written, related to walking tours in the City of Guelph.
