The collection consists of records aquired by the Association of Canadian Women Composers archives. The materials, which include musical scores and sheet music, concert programs and flyers, media clippings, and sound recordings, were donated by ACWC members. They document the activities and contributions of women composers in Canada and elsewhere.
Records consist of two series: Composer Files containing materials that relate to a single composer subject, and Other Materials containing records that relate either to multiple composers or to the subject of women composers more generally.

Fonds consist of correspondence; manuscripts of poetry, short stories, stage plays, articles, columns, young adult fiction and adult non-fiction; audio tapes of interviews; photographs; material relating to readings, workshops, adjudication and other professional activities.

The fonds consists of correspondence and monthly activity reports of LLL branches, membership lists, workshop and resource materials, and financial records.

The fonds consists of board minutes, bylaws, newsletters, media, photographs, program information, and records relating to pro-choice activism.

Item consists of sound recordings of Debby Yaffe discussing her childhood, schooling and family life in California, including gendered family roles, expectations of femininity in the 1950s, university, marriage and life in Europe, her feminist consciousness raising experience in London, teaching high school in London, the differences between English and American societies, sex discrimination, radical feminist activities, restructuring of sexual relationships, life in Canada and involvement in the Women’s movement in Victoria, Status of Women Action group, Everywomens Books, disordered eating as feminist issue, work as a fitness instructor, abortion rights, impact on feminist awareness of the December 6, 1989 killings at École Polytechnique in Montréal, radical feminism, women’s lives in Canada and England, life as a lesbian, resisting dominant domestic relationship constructs, teaching Women’s Studies, feminist theory, and the Victoria Women’s Movement Archives.<br>
The Debby Yaffe interview was conducted by Joy Fisher as a research project in the course History 358A, “Women in Canada,” taught by Dr. Lynne Marks, which covered histories of women in Canada from the era of New France to the present. Fisher’s resulting essay is entitled “Riding the Wave/ Watching the Wave: A Second Wave Feminist Talks about Gender Ideologies and her Life.”</br>

The fonds consists of correspondence, financial material, scrapbooks, photographs and material relating to Mary Guichon's community interests and activities. Includes policy and convention material relating to the Liberal Party in Alberta and the Liberal Party of Canada, and Mary's 1972 federal election campaign.

The collection consists of Valentich's research materials for her Red Mile project.

Fonds is constituted of minute books, account books, correspondence, newsletters, newspaper clippings, and pamphlets, a history of the ACW, several photo albums, posters, lists, memos, and menus from various church events and fundraisers. The single volume once acted as the organization's minute book, cash book, and membership dues register.
