The fonds consists of eleven color postcards, eight of which depict streets and buildings in Charlottetown such as St. Dunstan's College, Prince of Wales College, Victoria Hotel, Queen's Square, Grafton Street, Queen Street, Great George Street, as well as Victoria Park. Other postcards depict Rocky Point, the Summerside Post Office, and the "Prince Edward Island" car ferry. Two postcards include messages to William Carr of Elm Avenue, Charlottetown.

The fonds consists of eighteen photographs, three certificates and posters relating to the productions of the Little Theatre Guild in Charlottetown from 1952?-1964. The productions photographed include "Eros at Breakfast" (1952), "Julius Caesar," "The Merchant of Venice," "Our Dream House," "The Bishop Misbehaves," Anne of Green Gables," "My Three Angels" (1955), "Whitehead Boy" (1955), "Angel Street" (1956), and the presentation of the Martha Allan Challenge Trophy in 1956. The fonds also consists of three certificates; two certificates of the Calvert Regional Trophy awarded in 1955 for "The Whiteheaded Boy," and in 1956 for "Angel Street," and one certificate of the Martha Allan Challenge Trophy for "Angel Street" presented to the Little Theatre Guild in 1956. Also included in the fonds are posters and pamphlets promoting the productions of various plays throughout the 1950-1960s.

The collection consists of transcriptions of PEI cemeteries, compiled by the PEI Museum and Heritage Foundation and the PEI Genealogical Society throughout 1978 and 1979. Documented within these records are the inscriptions of headstones found within each of PEI's three-hundred plus cemeteries. Arranged by lot or township number, the transcripts also contain histories and photographs of various churches and cemeteries, sketches of plots, information relating to family plots, and some correspondence relating to research of cemeteries throughout PEI.

The collection consists of extracts from the parish registers of St. Augustin in Rustico (on microfilm and photocopied), genealogy of the Michel Hache-Gallant family, anniversary booklets of the parishes of Notre Dame du Mont-Carmel and St.-Philippe & St.-Jacques in Egmont Bay, an article on the automobile designed and built by Father Belcourt, and a framed photogaph of the clergy gathered for the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the consecration of Peter MacIntyre, Bishop of Charlottetown, on 15 August 1885.

The collection consists of correspondence (1848-1918) and land transactions (1827-1916) of the Riley family from the Baltic in Lot 18. James (1810-1806), George (1825-1899), Neil (1830-1899), and John Riley (1837-1921), all of whom were farmers, were the sons of William Riley (1790-1872) and Ann Beaton (1791-1838). The correspondence consists of descriptions of land in Lot 18 (1841), an account statement of James Riley with James McKay (1848) and letters relating to John Riley's claim of exemption from military service (1917-1918). The land transactions include mortgages, conveyances, and leases of land contracted by the Riley brothers.

McDougall family fonds

The collection consists of forty-six letters written to or by members of Alexander and Elizabeth McDougall's family from 1793 to 1857. Approximately fifteen of these letters were written to Elizabeth from her Campbell family members in Scotland. From 1819 to 1825, Allan wrote five letters to Harriet Campbell before returning to Scotland to marry her. Other letters consist of correspondence to Allan McDougall from an aunt and uncle in Scotland, as well as letters written between McDougall siblings and their spouses. The collection also contains a promissory note from Allan McDougall to James Anderson (16 November 1847), and notes for a letter to Ms. Myers, donor of this collection, regarding the area in Scotland from where the McDougall family emigrated.

The collection consists of four negatives of black and white photographs. The first is a scenic photograph of Murray Harbour. The other three photographs depict people living in the Murray Harbour area around the turn of the century. The first is a studio portrait of Lena, Winsloe and Louise Dunn by Lumsden Photo. Another photograph, entitled "Trip to the Flour Mill in Montague," includes Fred Davey, William Brehaut, Henry Brehaut, and Sidney MacKay. The collection also consists of a photograph of the Beach Point Stars Hockey Team (players identified).

This collection consists of textual and audio records relating to fiddling on PEI from 1951 to 1985. Textual records include issues of the Island Fiddler newsletter (1978, 1980, 1981, 1985), a program and two posters from the Island Folk Festival in 1982, and a photocopy of an article written by Jim Hornby in 1985 entitled "A Survey of Fiddling on Prince Edward Island". Also included in the collection are thirteen photographic negatives of various musical groups and individuals such as Don Messer and his Islanders and Robert Weeks.

The collection also contains original reel to reel audio tapes and cassettes of the Island/Heritage Folk Festival, and Venez Entendre which took place on 6 November 1982 as well as an audio tape and original discs of the Saturday Night Studio Jamboree broadcast on C.J.C.R radio in January or March of 1951, and original audio reels and copy tape of Lem Jay, fiddler from Mt. Stewart.

The collection consists of 563 copy negatives (445 - 35 mm negatives and 118 - 4x5 negatives) and one CD-ROM of images of the members of the Prince Edward Island Legislative Assembly taken from the official MLA composites for the periods 1901-1905, 1921, 1923-1927, 1931-1935, and 1947-2000. The negatives consist primarily of member portraits (1901-1905, 1931-1935, and 1947-1974) as well as some composites (1921, 1923-1927, 1947-1951, 1957, and 1971-1974). The CD-ROM contains digital images of member portraits from the 1950s and composites for 1951-2000. The negatives and digital images in this collection were probably created by the offical Government of Prince Edward Island photographers, ca. 1980 and ca. 2002.
