Kneen's Builder's Supplies fonds

Fonds consists of an official copy of an Order-in-Council issued by the federal Department of Public Works approving an application by Kneen's Builder's Supplies to build a wharf in Commercial Inlet (1950). Also includes correspondence from the Public Works Department (1933) and a hand drawn sketch of the subject area.

Fonds consists of a volume that provides introductory information for new initiates to the Order. The volume includes signatures of the lodge's officers including Tom Dobie, Don Lindsay, Jack Docherty and Gordon Beard. Other signatures are illegible.

Fonds consists of monthly policing reports that were submitted to the Mayor of Nanaimo by detachment staff. Reports include statistical information about the number and type of complaints, crimes and convictions. Many of the reports also include a brief narrative of policing concerns and issues. After 1974, the reports were filed with the Office of the City Clerk's Committee reports. Also includes 44 photographs of the new 1987 facility.
