The scrapbooks contain newsclippings documenting the tensions in international relations at the onset of the Second World War and the 1939 Royal Visit of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth to Canada.

The fonds consists of a Scrapbook, 1962-1968; a Baptismal record, 1938-1969; a Civil marriage register, 1937-1976; and a Communion roll, 1941-1954. The Communion roll was passed to a congregation, probably Tseshaht United Church, of which the students were members, and used as a record of those members of the congregation who were students at the School from 1954 to 1956.

Fonds contains the records created and collected by Comanor during his career as a social work administrator, a university professor and a social work consultant. His frequent involvement in conferences, symposiums, workshops and other training venues is reflected in the number of papers he presented and the bulk of records he accumulated from such events. The fonds is arranged into six series which reflect the main activities in Comanor's professional life.
