The fonds consists of records concerning the Prince Rupert Garden Club. It includes minutes from 1962- 2002, attendance records from 1971- 2004, constitution and bylaws from 1967 and 1980, financial records from 1983-1989, membership lists from 1977- 1988, correspondence from 1961- 2004, programs from 1983- 2001, reports from 1983- 2000, and newsletters from
1988-2003. It also includes photographs of Garden Club activities from
1977- 2001, as well as residents’ gardens from 1967- 1977.

Fonds consists of records related to the governance and activities of the Nanaimo Historical Society. Fonds is arranged in the following series 1) Executive records; 2) Sound recordings; 3) Nanaimo Local History Research group records; 4) Speeches and historical writings; 5) Register of residents; and 6) Photographs.

The fonds consists of administrative and operational records of the Bowen Island Recycling Depot produced between 1985 and 2003, including legal and financial records, documents from board meetings and AGMs, correspondence, and records relating to the relocation and expansion of the recycling facility.

The Rikki Swin Institute transgender collection consists of the following fonds: Rikki Swin Institute fonds, Ari Kane fonds, International Foundation for Gender Education (IFGE) fonds, and the Virginia Prince fonds. The IFGE fonds includes material from Betty Ann Lind and Merissa Sherrill Lynn.

The fonds consists of textual records, scrapbooks, photographs, audio visual materials, ephemera, memorabilia, plaques, trophies and badges related to the administrative and operational history of the Girl Guides of Canada, Newfoundland Council from 1923 to 2003. The fonds is composed of 24 series arranged to reflect the organization and activities of the association.

The fonds consists of records from the Women's Coordinating Council (Prince Rupert, BC). It includes minutes, financial records, notes on the history of the council, a donation list, programme notes for entertainment, a programme from the Prince Rupert Burns Club "Bring the Missus Night," and notes on the formation of the Senior Citizens Branch No. 62, formed in 1966.

The fonds consists of records relating to the operation of the hall and the meetings that were held in the running of the hall. There are minute books and list of memberships and executives; financial documents, deposit books and annual returns; receipts and documents pertaining to the running of the hall; the original lease agreement for the land the hall sits upon; and nine photographs of the Bay Tree community.
The fonds is arranged in six series based on record content: minutes, financial records, annual returns, land, hall operations and photographs. The arrangement has been set by the Archivist as for the most part the records were not in any set order.
