Dave Bohn collection

These photographs were collected by Dave Bohn, and were mostly created by Kinsey & Kinsey, photographers. Other photographs were created by Larss & Duclos, Goetzman and Adams & Larkin. The collection consists of 22 original prints and one stereocard. Images include Dawson City, Grand Forks, Eldorado, Hunker and Sulphur Creeks and depict leisure as well as the mining activity in these areas. Individuals represented in the photographs include George Archer, Clarence and Clarke Kinsey, Asa Thurston Hayden, Mary Kinsey, Otto Reinig, James Mason (Skookum Jim), George Carmack and Patsy Henderson. There are also images of dog teams. The stereo card was published by G. W. Griffith in 1900 and is titled "Prospectors at Claim 29, Klondike".

The collection consists of original letters written from the Klondike Gold Fields. One letter was written by George Dennis from Quartz Creek April 8, 1898 to Miss Frances McClelland in Illinois. Thirteen letters were written by Minnie Holmes from Dominion Creek and Dawson City, Yukon and Skagway, Alaska to Mr. Patrick in Denver from 1901 to 1902. Mining on the creeks, work opportunities, the people they are working with, and general day-to-day activities are described in the letters.

Dawson City Museum and Historical Society collection

This collection consists of photographs from the Dawson City Museum and Historical Society and is made up of several accessions, which have been arranged into series. The first three series are primarily images of Nome, Alaska, created by some of the most well-known gold rush photographers, including Joseph Duclos and Eric Hegg. Also included are images of Dawson City and Mayo, of which five were taken by William S. (Bill) Hare. Subjects include ships and shipping in Nome harbour, 1899-1909; camps, street scenes, the railroad and activity relating to the Nome gold rush. Photographs in series 1 were brought to the museum by Father Bobillier. Series 4 and 5 are primarily photographs of Dawson City and include commercial and institutional buildings, 1900-1909, mines and mining activity in the creeks around Dawson City; portraits of unidentified individuals and many of the Klondike "personalities". Other subjects include sports, the North West Mounted Police (NWMP) and the Yukon Field Force. Series 4 is from an album by H. A. Darms; series 5 consists of a selection of photographs of Dawson City and area, from a number of photographers. The textual material consists of two manuscripts written by Sally Robinson prepared for an exhibit on the Athapaskan people. The collection has been arranged into 6 series based on accession. Diane McCandless collection

The album of photographs and clippings in this collection was presented to Mrs. McCandless by the Whitehorse Drama Club "in recognition of her assistance by providing the crown for the Sourdough Rendezvous Queen". The collection consists of photographs of Rendezvous Queen contestants, the Queen's crown, Diane McCandless and a Coates & Kastner 1924 expense bill, an alien visitor's head-tax certificate, and a Northern Commercial Co. (NCCo.) bill. Textual records include newspaper and magazine clippings, primarily about Rendezvous and the Queen contest, and general information about the Yukon.

Don Rawlins collection

The collection consists of records created during Rawlins work on the Canol Project, including original photographs showing Watson Lake signposts, Whitehorse, fishing, hunting, White Pass and Yukon Route (WP&YR) trains and station, and postcards; textual records include his application for entry into Alaska, gun permits, driver's license, ship menu, issue of "Northern Newscast", an "Order of Alaska Cheechacos" certificate, three posters (a comical drawing of Whitehorse ca. 1920, the Kee Bird poem, and a route to the outhouse entitled "Trolley Line on the Alcan Highway"). The collection also consists of two blueprint plans of the Canol Project: Canol #3 line Swan Lake Booster Pump Station and Watson Lake Gasoline Pump House.

The collection consists of typewritten copies of articles in The Donald Times newspaper from May 5, 1898 to November 13, 1900. The Donald District Archives was researching the men from that district in Victoria, Australia who participated in the Klondike Gold Rush. The articles consist of extracts from letters from Edward Hayes, Peter O'Brien, P. Edwards and J.J. Warren. The collection also includes a map of Australia and a map of the Donald District.

The collection consists of photographs and copies of typed transcripts about the river experiences of Captain John T. Smith. The photographs are of the boats "Ohio" and "Will H. Isom" and of Captain John Smith. The transcriptions are from the papers of Captain John T. Smith, including his log for the trip of the "Will Isom" from St. Michael, Alaska to Weare, Alaska, in 1907.
