Also present are three letters from MacMechan concerning the article and a later letter from Stanley MacKenzie regarding an essay by Baird rejected by The Dalhousie Review.

There is also a letter of appointment from the Ministry of National Defence, a list of Henderson's publications, miscellaneous offprints, obituaries, high school diplomas, Cavendish Laboratory dinner menus, and the warrant of appointment to the Order of the British Empire.

The manuscript was for a presentation Clark delivered at a Dalhousie History Seminar in March 1985. The text discusses Norman Jellings Symons, a professor of psychology at Dalhousie during the 1920s who studied, taught, and published articles related to Freudian theory.

Godfrey while he was a professor at Dalhousie University and President and Vice-Chancellor at the University of King’s College in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
