The fonds consist of materials that relate to Twigg’s work as a writer, publisher and co-founder of the B.C. Book Prizes in the years 1975 to 2008. The fonds is arranged in fourteen series: Correspondence, Political Campaign and Poetry of Bud Osborn, Vancouver Theatre, Television Interviews, Twigg’s Book Research, George Woodcock’s Translation of Proust, Audio Cassette Interviews, Transcripts of Interviews, Authors’ Photographs and Negatives, Special Items, B.C. Book Prizes, Miscellaneous, Prairie BookWorld Founding Records and Twigg’s Newspaper and Magazine Articles.

Materials include incoming and outgoing correspondence, taped television interviews, transcripts of television interviews, drafts of Twigg’s literary works, unpublished manuscript of George Woodcock’s translation of Proust, audio cassette interviews, transcripts of interviews, photographs, banners, awards, legal documents, financial records, notes and newspaper and magazine clippings of Twigg’s published articles.

Fonds consists of manuscripts, page proofs, editorial and general correspondence, contracts, promotional and biographical materials. Included in the fonds are archival materials for Vi Plotnikoff's <i>Head Cook at Wedding and Funerals</i> (1994), first collection of Doukhobor short stories published and the first widely published literary writings by a Doukhobor woman, and George Elliott Clarke's poem-novel <i>Whylah Falls</i> (1990), later adapted for the stage and film, along with materials related to the publication of other works in Polestar's catalogue.

Records reflect the planning and preparatory stages of publications, book advertisement, and sales. Records include several Colophon Books chap books and broadsides, printed and illustrated by Jim Rimmer of Pie Tree Press, BC. Records include correspondence, fiscal files, client files, journals, book catalogues, galleys, proofsheets, criticical pieces, articles, and review. Fonds consists of personal papers, books, manuscripts, photographic materials, audio recordings and electronic records arranged into five series, which relate to Mr. Fawcett's personal life, his creative works and his relationships with members of the literary community.
