National Parks and Historic Sites Division records, 1956-1959, 5.5.cm; and III. Other material, 1939-1959, 2.5 cm. The latter series includes some records of the Banff Advisory Council, 1939-ca.1958.

Fonds consists of correspondence re establishment and premises, 1949-1961; constitution and minutes, 1950-1962; miscellaneous textual items, including poster, blueprint and calendar of community events, 1974-1976; and a sound recording of the Banff Library/Seniors Centre opening ceremony, April 20, 1985.

Fonds contains correspondence, minutes, plans, reports, legal and financial records of committees and officers involved in planning, building, financing and operation of the Banff Recreational Centre. Included is material from the Calgary Olympic Development Association, building plans and construction specifications, and agreements with concessionaires and the Banff Curling Club.
