The fonds consists of records documenting the administration of the project as well as reference files, oral histories, and a collection of historical photographs acquired during the course of the project. Records document the growth and development of schools in the Nanaimo-Ladysmith area and the recollections of former teachers and administrators in the school system. The fonds is arranged in four series: Project Administration (1987-1989), Reference (1939-1989), Oral history (1987-1989), and Photographs (ca. 1900-1979).

Chase River Parent-Teacher Association fonds

The fonds consists of newspaper articles on John Ferry and several documents related to Carney Ferry's work as a CNR agent. The bulk of the fonds documents William Dow Ferry's accomplishments, from his sixth grade report card to law school transcripts, university diplomas and certificates of appointment. Most photos are formal shots of William Ferry but one series relates to his military service, including photographs of soldiers in Whitehorse ca. 1940.

The second series consists of papers and artefacts belonging to Teiji's wife, Sawa Morishita. The third series consists of papers and artefacts amassed while the Morishitas (with the Ebisuzakis) ran the Ebisuzaki Shoten (store) at 337 Powell Street in Vancouver, BC. The fourth series consists of family photographs and artefacts belonging to the Morishita family. The fifth series consists of papers and artefacts belonging to the Morishita children. And the sixth series consists of papers and artefacts belonging to the Ebisuzaki family.
