The collection consists of posters for dances sponsored by the Carbon Old Timers' Association (1934-1949), Knee Hill Coal Company, prospectuses (1904), interview with Mrs. Van Loon (1955), Farmers' Exchange invoices (1919-1920), and photographs of the Gallagher and Stopp coal mines.

The Archives General File is an artificial collection of accessions which do not constitute separate fonds or collections or cannot be placed within existing fonds or collections. Included in the collection are textual records of many types, such as manuscripts, reports, letters, diaries, speeches, poetry, plans and others; photographs in the form of prints, negatives, transparencies, albums, postcards, etc. sound recorded interviews and programmes; and motion pictures. Material pertains broadly to the Banff area and many other areas within the Archives collecting mandate. Notable items include: Walter Wilcox letter; George Kinney report; interviews with Bill Round and Edward Feuz; original copy of Treaty Number Seven; Mary Schaffer material, including letters, notes, photograph and report; reports on the Nakimu Caves; film pertaining to Banff Winter Carnival; Georgia Engelhard letters and photos; plans for buildings and structures; George Noble photograph; W. S. Park photograph.

Consists of a series of reports and pamphlets relating to municipal government in Edmonton between 1934 and 1967. There is also a 1939 edition of "The Bay Breeze," published by the Hudson's Bay Company. The collection also consists of materials collected by the Provincial Archives of Alberta related to the 1978 Commonwealth and the 1983 University Games. This fonds consists of various publications relating to the two games including programmes, venue schedules, newsletters, team handbooks, magazine coverage and souvenir books.

The collection consists of materials collected by Murray Davis of Edmonton between 1948 and 1997. The fonds contains programs and magazines pertaining to the cultural life of Edmonton and Canada. Programs of such groups as the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, the Edmonton Opera Association, the Citadel Theatre, and the Alberta Ballet are included. There is also a collection of Canadian cultural magazines such as Encore, Update, Celebrity News, and Arts West. In addition, there are programs and brochures of special social, cultural, and sporting events in Edmonton.

Limited (Ltd.) of Vancouver, British Columbia. The photographs feature various locations in Edmonton including the Alberta Legislature, the High Level Bridge, the Low Level Bridge, the Hotel MacDonald, the river valley, downtown Edmonton, 100th Street, Jasper Avenue, and Riverside Park swimming pool (later renamed Queen Elizabeth Pool).
