The collection consists of a computer disc containing 86 images of the Prentiss and Sheer family, their farm on the shore of Bear Lake, Mack's activities as a child on the farm, workers and farm activities throughout the seasons, and a few scenes of Grande Prairie, as well as 7 photographs relating to the personal life of the Prentiss Family. The Bezanson portion of the collection consists of 66 photographs and 12 postcards and covers Bezanson's first trip into the Peace County in 1906, their homestead on the Smoky River from 1908-1913, his 1913 trip over the Edson Trail in a 1912 Cadillac with an Edmonton Realtor named Davidson, and a collection of Peace Country scenes dating from 1910 to 1930. There is also a Grande Prairie High School newsletter from 1935, a promotional picture of the Dunvegan Bridge, miscellaneous correspondence of the Prentiss family, and a collection of newspaper clippings about the family.

The collection consists of postcards featuring views of Alberta locations including Wainwright, Fort McMurray, and Edmonton circa 1907 to 1927.

Most of the records consist of letters written to Mark Young Stark and his wife, Agatha, in Dundas. Correspondents include friends and family in Scotland or friends and colleagues in Upper Canada. Of the Scottish letters, those from Stark’s stepmother (Mary Bannatyne) and aunt (Grace Young) are the most numerous. Some letters predate Stark’s immigration to Canada in 1833. Other letters were written to his wife and to their daughter, Mary Ann, after Stark’s death in 1866. Topics addressed in the letters revolve around personal and family news but occasionally touch on current events, including politics and ecclesiastical affairs.

The fonds consists of brief biographies of Jim Appleby, Hugo Carlson, Todd Richards and Jettie (Day) Willey who were interviewed by high school students. These biographies probably accompany the cassette tapes in accession 93.13

The fonds consists of materials collected by JAHSENA from Eva Shoctor Gorasht in 2002, including several speeches and poems written in tribute to Maurice Stochinsky and delivered at a Beth Israel Synagogue tribute dinner in 1969, as well as a photocopy of a photograph from the Provincial Archives of Alberta.
