The fonds consists of a photograph of a prairie wedding circa 1905, a photograph of a wedding congregation outside a prairie homestead circa 1905, and a panoramic photograph featuring Edmonton circa 1905. The photographer is unidentified.

The collection consists of images from a surveying crew that worked in the Peace River area, and includes images of pack horses, camps, trees and crew.

Fonds consists of a copied album, entitled <em>Land Settlement Central and Northern Alberta, 1930, Department of Immigration and Colonization, Canadian Pacific Railway</em> containing 85 images which depict immigrants who arrived in central and northern Alberta between 1928-1930 to homestead, and their farms, agricultural machinery, buildings, and livestock. The album also contains commentary about the homesteaders and the various costs associated with farming. There are also some panoramic views.

The fonds consists of images taken during David Neil Allison's trip up the Athabasca and Mackenzie Rivers in Alberta dating from 1912-1913. The fonds includes images First Nations Peoples, towns, settlements, missions, industry, and the North West Mounted Police. The fonds also includes correspondence related to the financial activities of the Appleton School District No. 2818, and a farmer's handbook dating from 1913 to 1924.
