The fonds reflect the material kept and collected by Pete Casorso. The records date from 1885 - 1997, but are predominantly from 1922 - 1987, the year after his death. The fonds focuses on the business and financial records kept by Pete Casorso. The files represent his business interests whether it is Mountview Sawmills Ltd. Pioneer Ranch, Casorso Brothers Ltd. and the many properties he owned or co-owned, mining interests (especially Lexington Mines Ltd. and Notre Dames Des Mines). Also included are records relating to insurance and legal indentures, personal records such as correspondence. Many of the records are handwritten and offer a glimpse into the life and times of Pete Casorso, Kelowna pioneer, farmer and businessman. on contents. Municipal District of Greenview No. 16 fonds

Hudson's Bay Company fonds

The fonds consists of two fur-trade ledgers which detail transactions between the Hudson's Bay Company at Dunvegan and individuals trading with this post, including Tranquille, La Glace and L'Eau, who were leaders of the Beaver First Nation from the Grande Prairie. The first ledger (8 ½ x 13" and 160 pages) dates between 1834 and 1840, and the second ledger (9 ½ x 14" and 160 pages) is from 1861-1863. The ledgers disclose what goods were on hand at Dunvegan at the time and the kinds of furs being trapped in the area.

There is a sectional Aeronautical chart of Boston (V-10), n.d.; blueprints of the barge "Minca" built for the Ministry of War, 1944; a Lee Wilcox poem; newspaper clipping about the replica of the schooner "Bluenose"; work orders for the annual refit of the patrol boat "Gull Light," 1970.
