Fonds consists of images of a First Nations winter camp and a First Nations sun-dance in Calgary, North West Territory, now Alberta.

The fonds consists of miscellaneous family records including correspondence (1900-1930), photographs, baptism certificate (1878), St. Albert assessment notice (1931), postcards, newsclippings, and Catholic religious material. Includes a handwritten recipe for dandelion wine, hand-cut paper stencils for beadwork, and a prayer book in Cree syllabics published by the Oblates in Edmonton (1929).

Fonds consists of the records of Bella Bella United Church and its predecessor, Bella Bella Methodist Mission. Records include Baptism registers (1880-1843), Marriage registers (1880-1884), and Burial registers (1880-1943); Membership records (1880-1956); Session minutes (1950-1956); Manuscript Mission Journal (1880-1924); and Congregational financial records (1898-1943).

The fonds consists of 308 photographs of the Bellerose family of St. Albert beginning in the late nineteenth century to the mid-twentieth. This reproduced material was collected as part of a documentation project on early Metis families of St. Albert. Also included are many images of family friends such as: Arcand, Arpin, Beaudry, Beauregard, Bellerose, Benoit, Bouchard, Boulanger, Boyd, Brown, Bruneau, Brunette, Callihoo, Cunningham, Cust, Esdale, Falcon, Ferguson, Gairdner, Iseke, Kennedy, Killips, Lanta, Laurence, Lentz, L'Hirondelle, Logan, McLaughlin, McLeod, Norris, Paré, Perras, Regan, Riva, Roselle, Ryan, Saffin, Savard, Todd, Vallette, and Villeneuve.

The fonds consists of 16 photographic prints, some of which are hand-coloured, stamped “B.W. Leeson Quatsino, B.C.”, labelled on the front or back with explanatory information, or signed in ink. One print of a longhouse is stamped “The Leeson Collection Copyright 1914.” The photographic subject matter relates to British Columbia’s Kwakiutl First Nations and the British Columbia landscape. Also included is a copy of Susan Roper's Portraits of the Indians of Quatsino by Benjamin W. Leeson, produced by the Research Project on Early B.C. Photography at the Vancouver Public Library around 1972, and 23 duplicate slides which accompany it.

The fonds consists of two stories, "Red Faced Woman" and "The Badger".

Collection consists of a pair of Athapaskan hide beaded gauntlets, white with beading (pink and red flowers with green stems) and light green interior, two Athapaskan beaded hide jackets with fringe, and a folk art carved wooden statue depicting a cowboy on a horse roping a calf.

The fonds consists of the personal records and research notes compiled by Bernie Fandrich as evidence in his legal defense suti against the Lytton Indian Band from 1983-1987. Includes personal correspondence (1983, 1985), a timeline of the suit (1973-1987), research notes (1860-1914, 1961-63) and photographs, maps, and all research notes and documents chronicling the construction of the Lytton-Lillooet highway and the Thompson River bridge, as well as the legal disposition of government and reserve lands in and around the Lytton area.

The fonds consists of photocopies of William and Gertrude's birth, baptism and marriage certificates; obituary for Elizabeth Haynes; letter to Gertrude (Haynes) Betts from J.W. Tims regarding the death of her mother; and articles on Cannon H.W.G. Stocken. Includes photographs of First Nations, North West Mounted Police (NWMP) posts, and Fort Macleod pioneers; photographs of W.R. Haynes and family and Peigan Reserve; photographs of William J. and Gertrude (Haynes) Betts and family and Blood Reserve; photographs of William Arthur Betts and views taken while an instructor with the Commonwealth Air Training Plan; views of 1937 Cardston Parade; 1939 Royal Visit; and 1941 dedication of a cairn at Stand Off.

The fonds consists of 478 photographs, predominantly of students at the St. Michael’s Residential School in Alert Bay. Beverley Brown, her friends, and school supervisors took the photographs between ca. 1937 and ca. 1945 using Brown’s camera. Photographs from this period include shots of the students with their friends and of social events, as well as posed class photographs. The class photographs were taken by school supervisors who subsequently sold the prints to other students. Other photographs were taken in Brown’s hometown, Bella Bella, and in the area of the Namu cannery. These show weddings, fishing boats, landscapes, and buildings. Peter Mason Sr., Brown’s father, had the photographs developed in Vancouver.
