The fonds consists of Art’s personal material from his hockey career, and military service in World War Two. This includes scrapbooks about his hockey and military careers, correspondence with his Father Cecil and other family members and friends during his various tours overseas and in Calgary, and photographs of various hockey teams including the Elmwood Millionaires, Winnipeg Monarchs, Calgary Stampeders, and Victoria Army hockey Team.

The fonds consists of his detailed First World War memoirs of the 8th Canadian Field Ambulance from its departure from Calgary in 1916 through demobilization in 1919. He discusses the crossing of the Atlantic Ocean, Ypres, The Somme, the Anzin Arras front, Vimy Ridge, Passchendaele, Loos and Hill 70, influenza (flu), Domart, Arras, Cambrai, Canal du Nord, Valenciennes and Mons.

The collection reflects the diverse collecting interests of Eric Harvie and consists of materials from many different sources. This fonds consists of the administrative records of the Ladies Auxiliary Command to the New Brunswick Command the Royal Canadian Legion. It contain minutes of meetings (1928-1939, 1951-1970), copies of the constitution and by-laws (1928-1979), and a printed copy of a brief history of the Ladies Auxiliary Command by Vesta R. Morell (1979). The history has been moved to MC80/62.

This fonds consists of 5 diaries kept by Ann Eliza Rogers Gallacher Moore, from 1852-1876 and from 1890-1896 inclusive. The diaries record the activities of her family and friends, as well as local, provincial, and national events.

In particular, she notes births, deaths, marriages, church meetings, and social gatherings and comments on such events as federal elections, the earthquake of 1885, and outbreaks of consumption and cholera in the 1850s. Her entries for the 1860s deal with the Gallacher family's life in Boston and Philadelphia, and she makes particular mention of natives of Hopewell, Albert County, N.B., who were residing there. As well she comments on activities pertaining to the American Civil War.

Wood, press release regarding S.T. Wood's retirement, and a history of the Esquimalt and Nanaimo Railway. Includes photographs of Fort Macleod, North-West Mounted Police (NWMP), military personalities and activities, First Nations people (likely Blood), the Supreme Court of the North-West Territories (1896), and the airplane used for the first airmail flight to cross the Canadian Rockies (1919).
