The collection consists of photographs of Racines's Sawmill (?) on Taku Arm, Tagish Lake, taken ca. 1910. There is also a copy of an article written by James K. Nesbitt in the "Daily Colonist" of July 8, 1956, about Thomas Tugwell who opened a roadhouse at Log Cabin.

Chilkoot Trail collection

The collection consists of a letter and diary. The letter was written by W.P. Cellbish [?] to his father December 1897 from Lake Lindeman describing his experiences in getting to and hiking the Chilkoot Trail. The diary, written by an unidentified individual, documents a trip from Dawson City, Alaska to Whitehorse, to Skagway by train, and Dyea to Bennett Lake via the Chilkoot Trail.

City of Dawson collection

This collection consists of two albums of photographs compiled by Parks Canada as well as ephemera. The photographs in one album concern a plaque unveiling ceremony in Dawson City, Yukon commemorating William Ogilvie and Joseph Tyrell. The second album contains photographs of opening ceremonies of the restored Old Post Office in Dawson City in 1975. Albums were made by Parks Canada and given to the City of Dawson.

The collection consists of six black and white studio portraits of the first City Council of Whitehorse, Mayor Gordon Armstrong, City Clerk Percy Hewitt, Alderman Bill Hamilton, Jimmy Harrington, Sammy McClinton and George Ryder. These six photos were acquired as a unit since they were mounted together in a frame. Also included is a collection of five black and white photographs of North West Mounted Police (NWMP).

Clayton Betts collection

The collection consists of photographs collected by Clayton Betts, a photocopy of an article written by Betts, and a photocopy of another article. Betts' article was written for the Vancouver Yukoners' Association Bulletin of December, 1979 and is about Solomon Albert, a trapper and prospector in the White River area. The photographs were taken in the Dawson City area 1898-1920 and show Harry Calder, Solomon Albert, Roald Amundsen, George and Martha Black, A.J. Goddard, Yukon Field Force, the first plane in the Yukon, 1st Alaska Air Expedition of the U.S. Army Air Force, Dawson Rifle Company and Sargeant Dempster's search party for the Lost Patrol. The other article is "Short History of Yukon Field Force and Dawson Rifle Company" by Lieutenant Colonel H.D. Hulme. It was published in the "Alaska Weekly" of August 14, 1936.
