The fonds consists of materials acquired by A.M. Dickson including newspaper clippings from the Edmonton Weekly Town Topics circa 1917 and pertaining to the Great Canadian Oil Sands Limited.

Consists of a photograph album 5 cm thick, containing ca. 200 photographs of places and persons in Alberta and Montana. The album was compiled by A. F. Buckham from his photographs of a cattle drive, and life in and around Dorothy, Alberta and the lower Red Deer River (1921-1924), Edmonton, Alberta (1930), the later half of the album deals with A. F. Buckham's student experiences at the University of Alberta and on a mining engineering field trip to southern Alberta and Montana (1933-1935). The fonds consists of extensive correspondence between A.E. Cross and Helen Cross (1899-1928); correspondence of A.E. Cross pertaining to the brewery, ranch, personal matters, and organizations in which he was active (1890-1932); correspondence of J.B. Cross regarding the brewery, ranch and personal matters (1933-1937); A7 Ranche business correspondence (1913-1943); Calgary Brewing and Malting Company business correspondence (1892-1906); Helen's correspondence and records of organization in which she was active (1880-1944); correspondence and school records of the Cross children (1912-1948); family memorabilia (1892-1949); correspondence and business records of Sandy Cross and Rothney Farm (1935-1987); and extensive photographs of the Cross family, the A7 Ranche, and Rothney Farm.

Collection consists of records dating 1912-1973 and includes a report on the Canada Land and Irrigation Company Limited, which contains maps and photographs of areas in Medicine Hat, Alberta, a report entitled <em>The Lost Mine of the Saskatchewan</em>, and a brief history of Medicine Hat. Fonds also includes various photographs relating to engineering, railroads, land and irrigation, and farming.

The fonds consists of negatives, slides, photographs and films shot by A.C. Lynn and Amy Zelmer including the Alberta Coal Branch, coal transportation, coal mines, the Edmonton Exhibition, the Castle Hotel fire (in Edmonton), a conference in Banff, the North Western Pulp and Power plant in Hinton, Fort McMurray, an archeological dig at Fort George, a painting class, Inuit Child Development, (produced by the International Communications Institute) and a film by Amy Zelmer (and Harold Alston) about Fort Mackay.

The fonds consists of a collection of photos, from several sources, which document the flooding of the Sheep River at Okotoks, Alberta in June of 2005.
