The fonds consists of a typewritten copy of a newspaper article from the "Charles City Press", of Iowa on November 18, 1899. The article entitled "In Land of Gold: Adventure of Charles City Lady's Husband in the Eldorado of Precious Metal", was excerpted from the diary Ben Ball sent home to his wife. It details some of Ball's experiences in the Klondike, especially a trip from Bennett to Dawson City via the Yukon River.

The fonds consists of copies of photographs taken on the Berry brothers' mining claims in the Klondike, and a group of men in front of the Klondyke Hotel and Delmonico Restaurant, Dawson City, Yukon.

The fonds consists of photographs of the Berton family, their home in Dawson City, Yukon, camping and fishing on an island in a river, Laura and Frank with the children in winter, and Laura posing with their dog. The fonds also includes a taped interview of Pierre and Lucy discussing childhood activities in Dawson City and the content of the photographs with Linda Johnson of the Yukon Archives. The interview took place in Dawson City, Yukon on August 15, 1996 during the Discovery Day Celebrations and the Grand Opening of the Berton House, a writer-in-residence location.

The fonds consists of original photographs taken by Neumiller's father, F.G. Lewis, a commercial photographer at Forty Mile, Yukon. The photos are identified on their original mattes and show the paddle steamers Tyrell, J.B. Light, Whitehorse, Selkirk, Dawson, Sarah, Louise, and the barges Margaret and Erie.

The fonds consists of original photographs, 1899-1921, mainly of Dawson City and the surrounding Klondike Gold Fields. Subject matter includes dredges, hydraulic mining, mining sites, moose, caribou, dredges, dog teams, cabins, groups of men, women and children, and an airplane landing at Dawson City. Many of the photographs were taken by commercial photographers J. Doody and Wolfe. The textual records, ca. 1950-1979, are miscellaneous articles relating to the Yukon including an article from a magazine about the funeral of Robert Service in 1958.

The fonds consists of photographs of men in military uniform in different situations, and two portraits of a woman. The textual records include a letter addressed to Captain Harvey from the Department of National Defence, November 10, 1945; agenda of ceremony transferring the Alaska Highway, airports and telephone system from U.S. to Canadian ownership; sketch of location of ceremonies in Whitehorse, April 1,1946; 2 Certificates of Military Qualifications dated 1940 and 1941; a Mess Dinner Menu Oct. 29, 1945; and 2 cancelled envelopes. The map is of British Columbia and the southern portion of the Yukon and was produced by the Department of Mines and Resources, 1942.

Bill Ferguson fonds

The fonds consists of correspondence, photographs, and audio-visual material created and collected by Bill Ferguson during his career in the Department of Education, Government of Yukon. This material is in-process (2005/125). The fonds also includes 13 copy negs. and reference prints made from photographs loaned by the donor in 2002 (accession 2002/89). The photos depict First Nation elders and members of Yukon's heritage community at official functions in the 1970s. Identified people include: Angela Sidney, Julie Cruikshank, Linda Johnson, Gertie Tom, Antonia Jack, Joe Jack, and Johnny Johns.

The fonds consists of one hundred and sixty-nine b&w photographs copied from two photograph albums predominantly taken in the 1930s and 1940s. Most of the images are of planes that flew in and out of Whitehorse, Yukon. Some of the planes have been identified. There are also images of sternwheelers active along the river.
