Entries include record of installments paid on loans listing the following: name, address, amount of loan, insurance, monthly instalment, overhead, date, folio, debit, and credit. There is also a record of inspection, repair and salary expenses for the Commission.

Subseries consists of the legal documents of the Dartmouth Housing Commission, including agreements of sale and deeds for properties sold by the Housing Commission.

Subseries consists of lists of people eliglible to vote in Dartmouth municipal elections, which included male ratepayers twenty-one years or older who had been residents or owned property in Dartmouth in the previous year. Female ratepayers became eligible to vote in municipal elections in 1886. By 1961, the requirement had changed so that anyone over eighteen who had lived in Dartmouth for one year was eligible. <br> When Darmouth was incorporated into a town in 1873, it was divided into three electoral wards. The lists in this sub-series are for Ward One for 1893 and 1894, and Ward Two for 1886. Dartmouth was later divided into 7 electoral wards. The 1966 lists are for Ward Six, and includes the voter's occupation in addition to their name. Sub-series also includes a 1928 list of electors for the Town of Dartmouth, district #31A to C, which was used for provincial elections.<br> Poll Books sometimes include the election results; as well as specimen ballots which show the names of candidates, as well as the wording for plebiscites or "money votes" where ratepayers voted on special expenditures.

Subseries consists of records of voting in Dartmouth municipal elections. Books contain lists of people who voted in an election, the names of candidates who ran for election, and a tally of the number of votes each candidate received - the election results.

Material includes aerial views, streetscapes, and viewplanes; photographs of specific lots, houses and buildings; images of recreation facilities; and general historical photographs of Dartmouth.
