Fonds consists of Phi Delta Theta records, including programs, budgets, reviews, newspaper clippings and materials related to the fraternity's fiftieth reunion in 1980. There is also Morton's history of the fraternity, miscellaneous correspondence (including some with Kenneth Leslie’s lawyer regarding the Committee on Un-American Activities) and a play written by Morton in the 1930s.

Fonds consists of records resulting from several projects and areas of research, including an employment trends survey for the information services professions; Public Policing in Nova Scotia; The Restructuration of the Faroese Economy; the crisis of the North Atlantic fisheries and the impact of fishing quotas on the fishing industry; and the Marginal Work World Project. Included in these records are correspondence, surveys, committee notes, interview notes, annual reports by committees and police departments, officer information sheets from various police departments, operation manuals, photographs, audio cassettes, newspaper clippings, and project papers.

Robert MacGregor Dawson fonds

Approximately half of the fonds is taken up with general research notes accumulated by Dawson during his working life, consisting of newspaper clipping, hand-written notes and assorted print materials (1917-1958). As well, there is a considerable but not comprehensive body of material relating to his publications, including research notes and correspondence, handwritten and typed drafts, proofs and copies of the finished publications (ca. 1920-1961).

The fonds has a small amount of personal and family papers (ca. 1900-1927), professional correspondence (ca. 1921-1951) and personal correspondence (1899-1950). Finally there are over 160 photographs of Dawson’s family and homes (1895-195-), of acquaintances from his student days at Dalhousie (1915-1920), and 4 photograph albums (undated).

Fonds consists of patient records, manuscripts, lecture notes, course material, correspondence, published articles, speeches, photographs, subject files, and papers of various professional associations, all created or collected by Dr. Jones during his career.

The materials in this fonds were generated primarily as a result of Dr. Jones' work as a Psychiatrist in Halifax and as a faculty member at Dalhousie University. Dr. Jones was a member of many associations and the bulk of this collection consists of meeting minutes and correspondence related to these associations.

Fonds contains both original records and reproductions of materials related to Reverend Thomas McCulloch, including one glass plate of an etching of McCulloch, a hand-written paper concerning vegetation in the Minas Basin, shorthand notes, a ticket for McCulloch’s moral philosophy course at Dalhousie College, microfilmed copies of three books by McCulloch, a Dalhousie thesis discussing McCulloch and the Nova Scotia educational system, and correspondence with Sam Cunard, Lord Dalhousie, the University of Edinburgh, and the Wernerian Natural History Society.
