Fonds consists of records relating to Taylor’s psychological, philosophical, and theological research. Materials relate to Taylor’s psychological work in India as well as materials gathered to support his lectures, sermons, and publication activities in Vancouver. Fonds consists of the following record series: Research notes; Manuscript drafts and notes; Sermon notes; Collected quotations; Published articles and books; Psychological assessment tools; and J.T. Taylor writings.

Fonds includes memos, correspondence, notes, proposal papers, publications and copies of publication, as well as slides and photographs. Some materials are originally from the Campus Planning Office.

There are also materials from Morehart’s personal life, including artwork, which consists primarily of several canvas boards and other flat materials, and personal correspondence. Folder names are primarily taken from original folders. Collection consists of 22 DVDs of the interviews, and other materials described in the Abra Palumbo sous-fonds.

The fonds consists of material related to David Aberle's research activities, academic work and writing. It includes the notebooks and journals of his fieldwork beginning in 1940-41 and continuing through 1991. These consist primarily of fieldnotes and other notes made during and after those trips. The vast majority of this material relates to Aberle's work with the Navajo in Arizona. The fonds also includes notes, articles, data and codes relating to Aberle's research into kinship and language among the Navajo, Mongols and Athapaskans, and extensive research into Navajo cultural and economy. The fonds also includes correspondence on a variety of academic subjects, Aberle's teaching materials from UBC's Department of Anthropology and Sociology, his work, including a number of reports written as part of, the Navajo-Hopi land dispute. Finally, the fonds includes the research for and manuscripts of a number of Aberle's essays and articles, as well as chapters and appendixes of his books.
