Fonds documents the functions and activities of the Board of Governors, including its standing and special committees, and the Board's predecessor, the Executive Council of Northeastern University.

Fonds is arranged into series based on committee or documentary type. A number of files and items are not part of any series. Fonds predominantly contains minutes, agendas, correspondence, memoranda, reports, budgets, speeches, membership lists, and financial statements.

The fonds is organized into one series and consists of a minute book and financial ledger.

Fonds consists of records relating to the functional bodies of the Charge which include various boards, committees, organizations and groups. Included are vital statistics, accounts, membership lists, reports, and published material; Records are arranged in the following series: Series 1.0 Baptism, marriage and burial records (1874-1980); Series 2.0 Membership records (1876-1933); Series 3.0 Board and committee records (1912-1976); Series 4.0 Education records (1887-1925); Series 5.0 Annual reports .- 1976-1995; Series 6.0 Miscellaneous records (1901-1997).

The fonds consists of minutes, annual reports, financial statements, cashbooks, bank records, accounts, receipts, and correspondence. Fonds also includes correspondence, reports, and financial records of the Boswell Recreation Commission.

The fonds consists of the operational records and various ephemeral materials of the Bowen Island Garden Club, including agendas, membership lists, photographs, and a memorial book.

The fonds consists of administrative and operational records of the Bowen Island Historical Preservation Association, including its constitution, minutes (1990-2004), correspondence (1981-2001), as well as copies of printed and published materials and collected reference materials pertinent to BIHPA activities.

The fonds consists of records collected and created by the Bowen Island Park and Store Use Society during its eight-year existence. The records include minutes of annual general meetings, correspondence, proposals, and reference materials. Additionally, there are a number of records, photographs, and ephemera from Heritage Day '84.

The fonds consists of administrative and operational records of the Bowen Island Recycling Depot produced between 1985 and 2003, including legal and financial records, documents from board meetings and AGMs, correspondence, and records relating to the relocation and expansion of the recycling facility.

The fonds consists of records created and collected by Bowen's Theatre on the Isle Society. Textual materials include the society's constitution, minutes, financial records, correspondence, and scripts. There are also ca. 75 photographs of BTOTI productions.

The fonds consists of a Boy Scouts "Troop Record Book" in which are recorded the names of the members of two patrols of a Ladner scout troop and its financial records for 1916. Reverend Garbett was its leader. A gap occurs in the book until 1934 when the troop is reconstituted as the 1st Ladner Boy Scout Troop. The Troop Record Book records members' attendance and fees paid until 1942. The fonds also includes receipts for membership and applications for membership, 1938-1939; and records of boys' names and addresses and tests passed, 1935-1938.
