The papers in this fonds are concerned with the business of real estate, investments, and commercial and private insurance in Edmonton throughout Harry Evans' career. A substantial portion of correspondence deals with land tenure, municipal taxation and assessment of property situated in northeastern and central Alberta and parts of Saskatchewan. A smaller portion of the collection is concerned with general and personal correspondence. The entire collection provides an excellent picture of business and social life in Edmonton over a period of 67 years.

This fonds consists of a letter, sales contract and insurance documents relating to motorcycle sales, an accounts journal that may also relate to a motorcycle and/or automobile sales and service business, a news clipping and catalogue pamphlet relating to motorcycles.

The fonds consists of certificates for Halley's Comet 1986 sighting, a copy of the site profile on the 1908 house in downtown Edmonton later converted into a restaurant called Vi's and information on the Oliver area.

The collection consists of a photograph and article (transcribed) on the Columbia House a.k.a. the Big Hotel, a copy of the <i>Edmonton Journal</i> (12/29/53) and a souvenir of Edmonton Schools 1911.

The fonds consists of documents relating to the history of the Pollard Brickyard and John Walter logging operation in Walterdale. Also included is a photocopy of a notebook including a handwritten account of the history of the Bedard family and recipes compiled by Firmin Bedard.
