The fonds consists of proposals, reports, and information files related to the operations and services of the Women's Centre; and scrapbooks of historical articles (1882-1976) from Calgary newspaper related to women's rights, the franchise, feminism, careers, birth control, abortion, divorce, and other women's issues.

The fonds consists of personal files relating to the various organizations of which she was a member, and scrapbooks she kept on various local and historical events. The scrapbooks, which Marie began to compile when she was 14 years old, primarily consist of newspaper clippings and programs for events such as music recitals, dinners, theatrical productions, sports events, royal visits and social activities. The first scrapbook includes material related to homefront activities during the Second World War.

Fonds consists of records relating to Hughes' academic and pastoral work, as well as to her interest in the changing place of women within the broader church. Fonds contains three record series: Lecture notes [ca. 1960]; Preaching and speaking notes (1940-1978); and Reference materials (1927-1947).

The fonds consists of her manuscripts: "Background and Ancestry of Alice Elizabeth (Matheson) Doyle", and her "Memoirs to date, Calgary, 1978".

The fonds consists of George's diaries (1935-1969), correspondence (1905-1971), ranching records, reminiscences, obituary, recorded speech and interview; Norma's diaries (1935-1940, 1970-1979), correspondence (1925-1978), musical career records (publicity, programs, recordings of her singing, etc.), reminiscences, her biography of George, and two recorded interviews; and the Pocaterra's financial records, tax returns, scrapbooks, and photographs and slides of Kananaskis, ranches, Italy, opera, and family members. This fonds consists of the administrative records of the Ladies Auxiliary Command to the New Brunswick Command the Royal Canadian Legion. It contain minutes of meetings (1928-1939, 1951-1970), copies of the constitution and by-laws (1928-1979), and a printed copy of a brief history of the Ladies Auxiliary Command by Vesta R. Morell (1979). The history has been moved to MC80/62.
