Fonds consists of photographs and postcards depicting Thomas D. Keffer, M.D., 1843-1921 and Jane Keffer (Evans), and various descendants thereof. This small fragmentary fonds is noteworthy for the presence of an early image, ca. 1870, of Dr. Keffer. Fonds also includes an excellent image of the T.D. Keffer House in Maple, 1909. Material accompanying fonds includes copy of a newspaper clipping re: Dr. T.D. Keffer, and a three-dimensional artifact: a hand-forged iron nail reputed to have originated from the first St. Stephen's Anglican Church parish building in Maple, ca. 1840.

The series consists of minutes of regular council and executive meetings of the organization. 2. Financial records (1934 -- 1990). Series consists of ledgers containing financial information about monies raised and dues collected. 3. Guest Book (ca. 1975-1990) 4. Administrative records -- includes correspondence (ca. 1976- 1990)

Fonds consists of family papers and ephemera, including list of electors, legal documents, typescript of "The story of Rundle" and print material. Fonds also includes newspaper clippings and a letter from Ralph Edwards, 1958 and a Banff Winter Carnival brochure, 1948.

The fonds consists of copies of correspondence (and transcripts of the copies) between the Veterans Volunteer Reserve (VVR) of Eagleham and District and headquarters in Edmonton. The correspondence includes Unit Commanders reports regarding parades, intelligence work and miscellaneous information; letters about fundraising and recruitment to the VVR; and reports on investigations by members in cooperation with the RCMP: a N.A.R. cook molesting children, pro-Nazi sympathisers, subversive talk and activities such as discouraging young men from joining the army, farm boys unfairly claiming exemptions, people cheating on income tax, abuse of the rationing system, non-cooperation with VVR activities, and Jehovah's Witness activities. A good deal of effort to obtain convictions appears to have been expended by at least one active member with the encouragement of the provincial headquarters, and entrapment is openly discussed as a means of getting convictions. Correspondence from the platoon commander indicates a strong anti-French sentiment, and there are reports naming young French men who have applied for farming exemptions but are not actively farming their land, resulting in their exemptions being withdrawn. The collection also includes a letter registering disatisfaction with the leadership of the platoon commander and a patriotic poem written by Rita J. Powers about the work of the Veterans Volunteer Reserve.

The fonds consists of photographs taken by Hugo Viewegar and his son, Lute Vieweger. Of particular note are nine autochromes, 1913 - 1914, taken by Hugo Viewegar. The autochrome is a very rare early colour photographic process. The originals are 5"X7" and 3 1/2"X5" transparencies on glass plates. The subject matter is native people, Royal North West Mounted Police (RNWMP), family portraits, a house and a still life, all taken in Edmonton. Also by Hugo Viewegar are nine black and white photographs and four black and white negatives, 1913 - 1914, of homesteading, RNWMP, the City of Edmonton paddle steamer, and Edmonton scenes. Two of the prints are vintage albumen prints (RNWMP). The remainder of the above are modern prints. Also included are five black and white photographs and four black and white negatives, [193-], by Lute Vieweger, of riverboats, airplanes and Fort Chipewyan. All five prints are modern prints. Also included is an audio reel recording of an interview with Lute Vieweger about his life, recorded in 1974.

The fonds consists of images, originally dating 1920 to circa (ca.) 1955, of the Banff Springs Hotel and the Banff townsite and buildings, Angel Glacier near Jasper, Chateau Lake Louise, Central Park, the library, Burns' house in Calgary, views of the University of Alberta and the river valley in Edmonton, the interior of different homes in Edmonton including kitchens and living room with fireplaces and radios, and the interior of a cabin and St. Mark's Church, both at South Cooking Lake.

The fonds primarily consists of 24 oil paintings, painted from memory and photographs by Viola Martin specifically for the Provincial Archives of Alberta and donated to the Archives as the Burton Memorial Collection; the paintings are of various homes and scenes at Burtonsville, Waterways and Alberta Beach from the lives of Vi's parents, Cornelius and Louise Burton. The fonds also includes descriptions and photographs of the paintings, a publication about Burton family descendents <em>(The Burtons of Black Cape and their Descendents)</em>, newspaper clippings about Cornelius and Louise Burton, a small published booklet entitled <em>The Gaspé</em> with sketches by Vi Martin, a poem about Cornelius and Louise Burton, photographs of the Burton family and places of importance to the family, certificates for the Bituminous Sand Extraction Company, Limited and the publication <em>Incidents in the Life of John L. Sullivan and Other Famous People of Fifty Years Ago</em>.
